a first stay away in a new relationship, the atmosphere and standard of decoration exceeded our exp
Pros:

Staff were very friendly & helpful, especially when working under the pressure of exceptional heat and a private party
Just felt a little disappointed with no access to the terrace. And a bit limited menu.
The one issue which should be addressed was the mattress- it has seen better days, needs an upgrade.
Breakfast staff very welcoming, and a good selection of food

The room was very spacious and comfortable

Cons:

The room was a bit chilly and the ceiling was low for my husband. The water was not hot enough to run a comfortable bath which was a shame because the bath was roll top and looked inviting.

An excellent short stay and a great team of people working well together.
Pros:

The place was very pretty, clean, tidy and a really pleasant environment. Although we didn't have time, it would be an excellent area to walk. It is very near Chartwell which we visited and enjoyed very much. It is also close to other tourist destinations.

Our stay at the george & dragon was excellent food was brilliant our room was kept clean with fresh towels ever day the staff couldn't do enough for you well done.the location for us was ideal being national trust members.
