Lovely, trafitional pub. Go in cooler weather.
Pros:

Lovely traditional English pub, but the weather was very hot and our room was also hot.

Nothing, except the lack of air conditioning.

The room names were a nice unique touch.
The food was fantastic.

Cons:

In the room the light over the bed was a bit dim and the bed headboard a bit creaky, but not enough to disrupt sleep.

Very nice comfortable stay.
Pros:

we enjoyed our stay at the George. The staff were friendly and the beer and food were good. The location is good for looking round the shops and local area. Hope to stay again in the future.

Quality stay in a quality hotel of character, with fine food and helpful, friendly staff.
Pros:

Perfect location (with car parking), lovely historic inn, great food and very helpful, friendly staff. Fabulous long views from the dining room. Nice touches in the room itself, from shortbread to sloe gin to a super shower ( we enjoyed a premium room).

Cons:

Very little to report under this heading. Struggled with the shower gel dispenser, and the bathroom door wouldn’t quite shut properly. Would suggest two bins, one for rubbish and one for recyclables such as paper and plastics. The excellent fan which was provided was very necessary on two warm nights. But really this was a quality stay.

Pros:

Great staff , very helpful and courteous, great location.

Cons:

Loud kitchen extractor unit that rumbled away most of the day until late at night.
Expensive drinks , food expensive, we went to the Hotel across the road , a lot cheaper.
