Great welcome. The staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. A great find.

Great place to stay, lovely rooms and great restaurant and bar.

The rooms were lovely we could not fault anything. The evening meal was fantastic and very reasonably priced.

The service at breakfast was a little slow but the food was great when it arrived.

Absolute gem of a place to stay! Quiet little town perfect for passersby

Lovely country pub in beautiful village. 5*accomodation.
Pros:

Friendly staff . Fantastic room with tea and coffee facilities, fresh milk and cakes . Very comfortable bed. Lovely shower . Beautiful courtyard. We were cyclists and somewhere to store the bikes safely . Very good food . We stayed for Thursday pie night . It was excellent. Breakfast is extremely good value and one of the best we have had with accomodation. Definitely 5 * rating . 3rd time now visiting and will be back 🚴‍♀️🚴

Cons:

People arriving after 12 pm and 1 am in taxi vans disturbing my sleep trying to check in. It's too late and they were on their phones . No idea why this is allowed to happen ! Not the best night's sleep 😔
