The restaurant was very nice but basic
Our room was very small for a king sea view on the third floor right at the very end of the hotel we had to use the lift then had to climb two lots of stairs it was very confusing if that room is for a person with a disability it would be impossible to get to it bathroom needed updating no bath wet room and not very clean toilet paper was disgusting this hotel wasn't for us pensioners to far away from the lift and two many staires very dissappointed
The main areas were good
The room was not great
I stayed at the Esplanade Hotel in Llandudno with my girls for three nights, and overall we had a lovely stay. The location is fantastic and very convenient for exploring Llandudno, with everything within easy reach.
The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful, and the downstairs areas and facilities were really nice and welcoming. A special mention has to go to the breakfast, which was absolutely excellent. Probably one of the highlights of our stay. There was a great choice, the food was fresh and tasty, and we really enjoyed starting our mornings there.
Unfortunately, the main downside for us was the room and, particularly, the noise. Our room was on the side of the hotel, and the mornings were extremely loud because delivery lorries were constantly coming and going. When you're staying for a few days and hoping for a bit of a lie-in, especially while away with children, being woken up early by deliveries wasn't ideal at all.
I really liked the downstairs lobby, which has been nicely decorated and recently renovated. It feels modern, welcoming and well presented. Unfortunately, this doesn’t extend to the bedrooms, which still feel dated and would benefit from the same level of renovation and attention.
We booked this hotel partly because it was advertised as having on-site parking. Unfortunately, the car park is very small and only accommodates a handful of vehicles. As a result, we were unable to park at the hotel and had to find alternative parking nearby. This was quite inconvenient, particularly as we then had to get up early to move the car. We felt the description of the parking was misleading and would have appreciated clearer information about the limited availability.
Great location and friendly staff
Location was great, right on top of everything, lovely staff
Wi-Fi wasn't great
The location was good. The bed was comfortable. We were given extra pillows when we asked for them.
We were led to believe that car parking was available but when we arrived it wasn’t and we had to park quite a way away which was inconvenient.
The WiFi wasn’t very reliable.
The room was quite cluttered which made it feel cramped.
The room had a fabulous view and was a great size for 5 people. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
The WIFI was constantly disconnecting and throwing up security errors. The 4G signal was also poor which was strange considering there was a large mast on top of the Orme. The restaurant food was quite pricey.
Perfect location 👌
Stairway carpets were very tired and loose in a few places.
The receptionist was amazing couldn't be more welcoming and helpful nothing was touch to ask she was simply brilliant
The only thing I didn't like was the lift access area due to the whole stairwell being glass enclosed and the heat was unbearable a suggestion would be to tint out the glass asap
Everything was brilliant
Car park
Big rooms, close to everything and car park.
.Only negative was an hour late checking in as room wasn’t ready and checking out they didn’t let us stay for few hours in the car park
Parking at the hotel as was very busy in Llandudno, nice comfortable clean room, check in easy, and hotel was very close to the pier
Breakfast was nice, staff were nice
Room was very sparse wasn’t welcoming, Mold on tiles by shower and stains on the carpet definitely wasn’t worth £229 a night, Parking nightmare
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.
The availability of the parking - although tight as warned but we did get in.
We were allowed early access to our rooms as they were ready and as we were in Llandudno for a funeral and had travelled a very long way this was exceptionally helpful and much appreciated.
Also I am 93 and your facilities were suitable for me, although I am not disabled I needed to be near to the centre .
There was no-one to hand our keys to when making an early departure.
This is not a criticism as I know it is difficult but I would hve felt more comfortable to do so.
