We were there for 1 night to see a show at the local theatre and spent the next day near the beach
Pros:

Modern comfortable room

Cons:

No hot water to the wash basin, the room we were in requires double glazing and we could'nt get the heater control to respond. We enjoyed the cooked breakfast next morning but the eggs were served cold probably due to waiting on the service hatch to be delivered by the waitress, we prefer self service breakfast.

Loved it.
Pros:

The hotel is undergoing a transformation. I went as a 9 year old at the end of the 70's.
Nostalgic trip back. They are doing a fantastic job of renovation with the downstairs looking amazing.

Cons:

Carpets needs ripping up and renewing.

Pros:

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Both front of house and dining room. Location was fantastic. Breakfast was beautiful, the scrambled eggs are off the scale 👍

Cons:

The room location is quite odd going upto the top floor then down a flight to go back up again. Room302. Sadly we won't book this room again due to wife's mobility.

Pros:

Cleanliness and good meals even though was expensive

Cons:

The caroet in room 104 was stucking up by the bathroom door this could cause a trip hazard . Mentioned to lady on reception and she just said oh .
Also dont appreciate a member of reception team screwing her face up at me because i said i may be returning .

Pros:

Very friendly welcome at reception. The room was at the back of the hotel but the room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The lobby and restaurants look great.

Cons:

The carpets in the stairwells and corridors where very worn and dirty this did not affect our stay but was not a good impression.
