overall the stay was bad we couldn’t sleep all night cause of the heat

I like the location only.

Cons:

it was really warm and it was underground and outside the room there bin bags and it was very smelly also its a very suffocating room and the fan wasn’t enough for the room plus the room is very suffocating.staff was very nice and helpful they provided us another fan. Our door lock was not working so I spoke to reception he repair pur door lock. It was not a good experience.

Didn’t stay
Pros:

I didn’t actually stay there. The staff were friendly. They have no AC and the facility was not bug free with 36 degrees outside temperature. They were kind and refunded mu dues. Perhaps the conditions may be better when cooler weather exists- winter time

Das reinste Loch! Keine Luft, kein Stern, reine Abzocke.

"Tut euch das nicht an! Wir sollten hier als vierköpfige Familie schlafen, aber das Zimmer war ein reines Verlies im Keller. Die Fenster ließen sich nicht öffnen, man bekam kaum Luft und drohte regelrecht zu ersticken. Zu allem Übel lag das Loch direkt neben dem Wäscheraum: Beißender Waschmittelgestank und unerträgliche Hitze zogen pausenlos in unser Zimmer. Und weil es ein Kellerraum ist, konnte uns jeder von der Straße aus durchs Fenster anstarren.

Man hört von Einheimischen, dass die Betreiber in der Nebensaison Notbedürftige und Geflüchtete im Auftrag der Stadt einquartieren und diese pünktlich zur Saison auf die Straße setzen, um Touristen in diesen unzumutbaren Zimmern abzukassieren.

Minus-Sterne kann man leider nicht vergeben. Bis auf die Nähe zur Paddington Station ist hier alles eine absolute Katastrophe. Lasst die Finger von diesem Hotel und der ganzen Straße – ihr werdet es bereuen

Good location & staff but poor room.
Pros:

Located very close to Hyde park and a short walk from paddington. area is quiet and the hallways/stairwell is quiet also. receptionist was very friendly and offered a free room upgrade due to the one allocated being incredibly small but the room wouldn't have been available for a while longer and I had an event to go to so they allowed me to check in early without charge instead. it was sufficient as a place to stay for one night and to only use the room for sleeping without spending extra time there. hairdryer and fan already in the room.

Cons:

the single room was absolutely tiny and did not look like the photos, it was basically a cupboard with a bed. luckily had a sink and mirror in the room but main bathroom with standing shower was in a separate upstairs room (only accessible to myself with private key). as mentioned I was offered an upgrade but was time limited so couldn't wait while it was prepared. if you booked request not to be placed in room 7. no trash can in room either.
