This is the perfect place to stay in Exeter, very comfortable room, central location, great staff, outstanding breakfast and brilliant ambience.
I liked the location shower and rooftop bar.
My view was a wall
The room was small
Service could have been better
Window was tiny
Great location and lovely helpful staff . Ate at the hotel the first night and the food was delicious and the staff were on the right side of attentive. The air con was very much needed during the heatwave and it was a relief to come into the hotel and our room.
We ordered breakfast as room service and the hot food was cold. And the croissant was stale. Very expensive mistake on our part.
The tv only worked if cast from our phones which intermittently worked.
De ligging
Het is moeilijk met een mobility scooter ,deuren gaan niet automatisch open. Lift is klein.
Goed gelegen. Kamer prima, proper en mooi. Enige dat ontbrak was bodylotion.
Ontbijt voldoende maar elke dag zelfde buffet, warme gerechten basic.
Its central position, welcoming atmosphere, comfy room. Loved the bedside lights that pulled out and the easy to use shower controls.
The art was all very weird. Great apart from that.
Excellent location very close to the Cathedral and centre. Probably the best roof top view in Exeter at the roof top bar. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing
The hotel and staff were 1st class from start to the end of our stay!
parking is always an issue staying at Hotel Indigo in Exeter, but you know what you're getting when you make the booking...
Decor comfort and location. Friendly staff and lovely rooms
Nice property, great location
Front desk staff could smile maybe?
Central
Location
No hairdryer in room, rooftop bar was overcrowded and only bar service. We didn’t stay for a drink.
Staff where so helpful and friendly , so clean, room was absolutely beautiful, rooftop bar to watch the sunset 10/10. Location fantastic. One of my best stays.

The location in the city centre was very good for visiting places of interest, it was literally on the doorstep of Exeter Cathedral. The room was clean and comfortable, we had a balcony overlooking the main street but it was still very quiet in the evening. Some of the staff were very pleasant, others were disinterested in helping out.
Due to the hotels location in a pedestrian zone, taxis could not drop off or pick at the hotel, however, there was a pick up point a two minute walk away. No big deal.
The food and service. On arrival we went to the ‘Rooftop Bar’, ordered drinks and asked for a Charcuterie. The drinks were immediate but we waited 30 minutes before the barman made a call and eventually it arrived. We had booked the restaurant for dinner. We ordered our food and after 40-45 minutes it had not arrived. When it did, we had ordered lasagne, it was dreadful. Overcooked and stuck to the ‘Staub’ cast iron dishes, the food was cold and the cast iron could be handled with bare hands. My side dish of vegetables was inedible, the broccoli was solid and looked and felt like wood. We refused the offer of the dessert menu. We complained to the waitress and got a “very sorry”.
Breakfast was not much better, we decided to eat breakfast at the premises next door to the hotel.
Near to where wanted to be
Spa separated minor issue though
