My husband and I needed a place to stay on very short notice. I was able to book our stay and was so excited. It was the last stop on our 10 day journey. I went to check in while my husband unloaded the car, where he just left are luggage out front. I walked in and was told to set my purse down and walk through the security walk way. Not a problem! When I picked up my purse he was very short and rude saying set my beg on the counter and step away. He then went through my bag. All the while another security guard is watching with a drug dog. I gathered my bag and went a few steps to the front desk to check in when the security guard with the dog comes up behind demanding I set my purse down and step away! I’m now shaking and so rattled I can’t sign my name and even the lady at the desk apologized. I checked in and I’m walking back towards the security desk to the front door where I get my luggage. I asked valet if I could have a cart. He said no I would have to give my drivers license. I was shocked! I’m a 56 year old disabled grandmother. At this point I just want to get to my room! I have my bag plus two suitcases, when the desk security guard makes me put everything back down and go through security again! I am so upset at this point! I gathered everything up again and take 4 steps and the security guard with the dog yells at me and say mam stop and step away from your bags. She takes my luggage, she knocks my purse over dumping everything out. Now I’m shaking and crying. I don’t know if it was a sick joke but even though everything else was wonderful I will never be treated like that again! I’ll say 3 stars but I don’t even want to give it a 3 after that emotional breakdown!
I loved the veiw
I didn't win lol
Clean

I loved how welcoming the inside staff were. Nice, courteous, and respectful.
The valet was so rude, that we have to get a different room on our way out of town now. I won't be returning to a hotel that the valet are allowed to behave badly then point to sign telling the guest to park their own vehicle. Not a great impression to make for guests. It was raining and the employee was afraid of getting wet. I was helping my friend into her wheelchair when he told me to move my vehicle up 3 feet so he could get in without getting wet. No tip for him. Rude and condescending. Sorry, I won't be spending the 4 days total at your establishment any more. We travel yearly.
The staff from the front desk to the cleaning ladies where amazing.
The valet staff at arrival where extremely rude about me being dropped off at the door with my luggage.
What a nightmare! Intended to have a little staycation at the local Southland Casino and Hotel. Planned to hang with friends and eat, play, and relax.
Not at all...
The hotel experience was nice as we were upgraded to a better room. Room was not as clean as we would have liked but since we were upgraded, we didn't complain. Staff at the check in desk were super nice.
Our dining experience was horrible! We attempted to eat at the Kitchens Buffet on Memorial Day around noon. They were packed and there was a staff member giving out reservation tickets to return at a later time. We were given a return time of 2pm. So, we went and gambled for a couple of hours and returned at 2pm. When we attempted to redeem our reservation ticket, we were told to go and get in the very line we were given a reservation ticket at 12 to avoid. Now, the line was wrapped all the way around the inside of the building. When we questioned the attendant working the buffet, she told us to "GO GET IN LINE." It was horrible. The line to wait was close to 2 hours and we had already waited 2 hours.
So, we then went to eat at Betly. What a bad decision. We were told they were short staffed and even though we could order and eat there, we would need to order our food " to go." We did and were given to go boxes to use as plates and plastic silverware. No service to refill drinks, provide napkins, etc. The bartenders there did their best to help but were so busy we were left stranded at the table.
Clean comfortable updated.
