The location was perfect for the purpose of our visit
More sockets in the room
Very flexible check in time, helpful host and staff.
Easy to park nearby.
Central location, easy to find.
Small room and bathroom for the price.
Room facing onto a road and roundabout with very bright lights (internal shutters/curtains blocked some).
Quite noisy in general and easy to hear other guests.
Fantastic room clean bedding and helpful staff and great privacy
I think they were closing early but i was going wlsewhwre so wasnt an issue for me.
The welcoming attitude, the atmosphere, the location, the food, the cleanness
Location was very good… on the High St with free parking nearby & access to great pubs & lovely local walks.
Facilities were well below what was expected… cold shower, limited electrical sockets in the room that was very hot due to weather with no offer of a fan.
Had to ask for additional tea bags, milk & toilet roll for the 2nd night of our stay.
Attitude of landlord was very brusque.
Reception/bar was closed more often than open, meaning access was then via a wobbly spiral staircase at the back of the property.
Other members of our group had issues with the electrical sockets & broken curtain pole.
Good location in cricklade, thai restaurant in promises was excellent
It felt expensive for the size of the room and shower and a fan would have been good given the heatwave.
Old furniture, old room, not up to standard. Very overpriced. I will try to avoid using booking.com in the future.
Mark looked after us as soon as we arrived excellent host
Nothing
Great staff, bar was good and restaurant excellent...
A lot of stairs, but unavoidable and didn't affect our stay
Staff received me well, even gave me a sports drink.
A lovely welcome and a very interesting historic building in a great location. We were walking the Thames path and it was perfect for our needs. Perfectly clean and comfortable.
We visited during the heatwave and it was intolerably hot. Sunshine comes in through the windows and there’s no way of cooling it down. The building is being renovated and is likely to be in much better shape in the future.
Lovely little hotel lots of character and history loved it
Room had everything needed. Clean and bright
Delicious curry
Bedside lamp didn’t work - bulb needs changing?
Staff were very nice. Bed was very nice and I liked the bathroom sink
With no parking and being on a busy roundabout it's not the best location and quite expensive for what it was. They did seem to be doing some building work.
The food was excellent.

Very good value for money. Set in lovely village with lots of nice pubs and such.
Steep stairs to get to and from rooms (but was warned of this in advance). Couldn’t check in until 17.00. Again this was warned in a message from the property but I didn’t see it until I was already in Cricklade. Bar was under renovation.
