One-of-a-kind boutique, historic property
Pros:

Above-and-beyond service from shaun at front desk, who handled our booking modification and special requests thoroughly and considerately; even switching room types to accommodate. The interlude room was sublimitly quiet and I had one of best nights sleep ive had in a long time, snug amidst the bluestone. A la carte breakfast was better than expected. The overall architecture and re-modelled design of this former prison was truly memorable.

Cons:

bathrooom door had large gaps on each side and privacy was somewhat compromised.

Being born and breeding Coburg and having to deal with the loss of our father and funeral services being able to stay in my hometown that I no longer live in was beautiful and fantastic the view couldn't be better looking at the city I once grew up in. Watching the balloons in the morning floating past the Dandenong ranges in the little distance was wonderful.
Next time we stay we hope we can get a room with a different view not because the one we were with wasn't great We just want to see more

Excellent accommodation, terrific staff and ideal location
Pros:

Great location with plenty of food options within Pentridge and with public transport into the city at the doorstep, we had no reason to take the car out of the secure parking lot. The room was spotless and beautifully appointed. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect.

Beautiful room in a nice historical site
Pros:

Really loved staying here. The location was perfect for my needs. I loved having a walk around and seeing more of the old Pentridge prison than I expected. Lots of restaurants and shops. Room was exceptionally clean and staff were friendly. Highly recommend

Didn’t spend a lot of time in the space as we were visiting family.
Pros:

Cool area with good coffee close by and shops. Great location for us.

Cons:

I didn’t like the smell of the cleaning products which were overwhelming in the room. I didn’t like the toilet paper. Very harsh. Bed wasn’t that great.

Pros:

Fabulous stay. Cleverly designed and a real thrill to stay.

Cons:

The access to bed was tricky if you’re not super mobile.
It was also very dark and I actually fell at night getting up to the toilet.
Nasty bruising to R) Hip and R) forearm.
