Pros:

Good but wouldn’t trust the reviews.
Pros:

The property was beautiful! We really enjoyed it - I explain lower score in next part.

Cons:

We liked in general a lot of things about this property. It was a bit expensive for value was our only complaint. This was the main problem though, the staff asked us the same questions Booking.com asks at check out of the stay. When I didn’t give them an absolutely perfect score. I literally only marked very minimal things and was overall happy. Their emotions changed and were very unhappy. We left and then the man chased us outside, bringing a gift and then asking us not to write them on Booking.com because it wasn’t perfect. This felt like bribery and bothered us.

A wonderful stay at a charming Hanoi hotel
Pros:

It was a beautiful hotel with an absolutely beautiful terrace room. Botan, the rooftop bar was a lovely spot to stop and have a cocktail. The spa is lovely and was one of the best massages I've had. We had our anniversary dinner in the restaurant and the food was absolutely fantastic. The rooftop pool, while compact, is also worth a mention. Very clean and a great spot to relax in the afternoons - before heading to Botan!! But I've saved the best for last - the staff are the real highlight of this hotel. Katy and Paul were so lovely and helpful - all the staff were. I've never stayed somewhere where I've felt so welcome and been looked after so well. We will stay here again when we're next in Hanoi.
