Pros:

Very friendly and helpfull staff, which ment everything to my dad, who is in a wheelchair. Thank you all so much!

Cons:

The only thing that would have made the stay even better, is a higher toilet seat for my dad

Over priced, although location, sea views and comfort of the bed were lovely.
Pros:

Reception staff on check in and check out were wonderful, really helpful and accommodating. The location is lovely, right on the old port and our room had a great balcony with beautiful views. The bed was incredibly comfortable and although there was some noise we felt for a city stay it was acceptable. The hotel itself is spacious and air conditioned with lots of seating areas, a good lift, and a carpark in sight of reception which is unusual for Kalamata. they very kindly let us leave the car there all day after we checked out and stored our luggage (although not securely), just in the reception area.

Cons:

We have been staying in four and five start hotels in the Peloponnese for years (KaSeas, Kyrimai, 100 Rizes, MANNA, Limeni Resort, Ellies Kardamyli), and for over £200 a night the attention to detail was just not up to the standard we would expect. There were aspects of the room that were tired, scruffy menus and marked towels, bathrobes with misshapen linings and the embroidery 'after sex' on the back was a bit much! Charging and plugs only on one side of the bed, the room-safe was too small for a laptop, no table on the balcony so you had to have your glasses on the floor, everything in the mini bar was chargeable (including the nuts that were complimentary in the bar). The shower had a strong smell of drains and on two occasions we could not lock our door as the automatic system was glitching (housekeeping were great and helped us on those occasions). Breakfast was OK but we did not get two of the items ordered and when questioned our request was simply ignored, we were unable to charge lunch or drinks to our room which felt like an oversight. The waiting staff in the cafe were really not good.

Pros:

We had dinner on the front. The location was great. Starters cheese and meat platters were very good. Unfortunately the mains disappointed. 3 shrimps in the pasta. Squid dish was overcooked and tasted of charcoal and very little of it and undercooked pasta. Didn't clear the table after the starters and we needed to ask for more cutlery. They need to up there game!

Good location, small rooms with spotty service
Pros:

The view of the boardwalk from the room was quite nice. Enjoyed viewing the sunrise and the sunset from the balcony.

Cons:

The service at breakfast was spotty. It was not clear what was included in the breakfast and what was not. The service staff was not very attentive.

The room is on the smaller side for the price of the room. It was my fault that I had not looked at that information more closely.

Friendly great location excellent staff and fabulous service
Pros:

We arrived at 22:45 after delayed flight and they couldn’t have been more accommodating even providing a three course dinner.Really comfortable bed.

To Grand Hotel βρίσκεται πάνω στον παραλιακό δρόμο της Καλαμάτας! Τα δωμάτια είναι ολοκαίνουρια και εξαιρετικής αισθητικής. Οι παροχές είναι άρτιες και το A la carte πρωινό άφθονο και εξαιρετικό! Το προσωπικό ήταν στη διάθεσή μας! Έξτρα παροχή το δωρεάν πάρκινγκ!

Pros:

מיקום נחמד ונוח. נאלצנו להחליף חדרים , ולקחנו 2, כי חלקם ממש לא נעימים. הובטח לחדרים שלנו נוף מסוג מסויים וכמובן שלא התקרב לכך. במעלית הבנו שאנחנו לא יחידים…. והכי זוועה היה השירות. החל מפקידת הקבלה שקיבלה אותנו, המשך בצוות המסעדה בארוחת הבוקר וכן הלאה. למעט עובד אחד שעזר בהכל, שהיה מקסים.

Alles in Allem ein sehr gutes Hotel

Mit dem Frühstück waren wir grundsätzlich ebenfalls zufrieden. Die Qualität war gut und man hat alles bekommen, was man für einen gelungenen Start in den Tag braucht. Aus unserer Sicht gibt es bei der Auswahl und Vielfalt noch etwas Verbesserungspotenzial, dennoch hat alles sehr gut gepasst.

Insgesamt können wir das Hotel klar weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Cons:

Wir waren für eine Nacht im Grand Hotel Kalamata und waren rundum sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht erfüllt.

Die Zimmer waren modern, sehr sauber und hochwertig ausgestattet. Man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die ausgezeichnete Lage direkt in Kalamata – ideal, um die Stadt, die Promenade und die vielen Restaurants bequem zu Fuß zu erkunden.

Auch das gesamte Ambiente des Hotels war sehr stilvoll und angenehm. Das Personal war durchwegs freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr bemüht, wodurch der Aufenthalt zusätzlich besonders angenehm wurde.

Insgesamt ein wirklich hervorragendes Hotel, das wir jederzeit wieder buchen würden. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Kalamata besuchen möchten.

A wonderful time and we would stay here again.
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay. It is located in the main strip and has convenient access to many tavernas and a walking path. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was much quieter than we expected. Exceptional breakfast and we also enjoyed their dinner outside. Parking included, which is very helpful since there isn’t much parking around town. We would definitely stay here again.

Cons:

One waitress wasn’t as friendly, but all others were fantastic.

For a 5 star experience in Kalamata stay here!

This was my second visit to this hotel. Super comfortable room,bed is great! Large balcony ,excellent bathroom
