Hotel nice but put water in rooms and aircon

The location was good, staff were very helpful
Water station was fantastic

Cons:

Very basic for 4 star. Room was small but extremely hot with just a fan , wasn’t cleaned on day 2 .
no water in the rooms . I think water in bedrooms should be standard. Shop in hotel is way overpriced

Pros:

The room looked amazing and it was big enough for the two of us. The breakfast was amazing and the pub is also lovely. The ice cream was exceptional.

Cons:

Bedroom was so hot my glasses steamed up when I went in
Cons:

The temperature of bedroom was unacceptable - people with reservations should have been notified of the conditions prior to their arrival - thus giving them the opportunity to cancel. I am asthmatic and air quality was not acceptable or safe for me. I had to use inhaler more times this weekend than I have in past year. One old dirty fan in room that was circulating warm dirty air was not okay - I expected to be offered a discounted rate but no such thing

Cons:

No air conditioning. The room was like an oven and I never slept for 2 nights. The small fan provided didn't improve things by much. Can I recommend you get blackout curtains to prevent the sun from being able to heat the rooms all day.

The room was lovely. Newly refurbished. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice.

Cons:

Massive let down is no air conditioning.....especially on the hottest weekend of the year.
Rooms that are on a low floor and are on the side of the hotel with the road are very noisy when deliveries and coaches arrive..
