Göreme Cave Lodge

Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und liebevoll zu/vorbereitet, das gesamte Personal überaus freundlich und um jeden Gast bemüht, man fühlt sich wie zu Hause; der Besitzer und seine Söhne sprechen sehr gut Deutsch, geben gute Tipps.
In wenigen Minuten ist man fussläufig im Zentrum von Göreme; Parkplatz direkt vorm Haus.

What a beautiful experience we had at this hotel! There are many stunning hotels in Cappadocia, and choosing the right one was not easy at first. Once we found this hotel, we quickly understood why it has such excellent reviews… they are absolutely deserved. The rooms were spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The beds were cozy, and everything we needed for a pleasant stay was provided. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which was a wonderful bonus during the hot days. Its location is perfect because its close enough to the center yet far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet.

What makes this hotel truly special is the warm and welcoming family atmosphere created by the staff. As a family-run hotel, it makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive until the day you leave. The hotel also carries a unique piece of history because the owner was actually born in one of the rooms, which adds a very personal and authentic touch to the experience. Every single guest was treated with genuine care and hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that everyone felt comfortable and that nothing was lacking throughout their stay. This level of attentiveness and kindness is something you rarely find.

We really hope to have the opportunity to return and stay here again in the near future. Thank you for making our visit to Cappadocia so memorable!

Rate them 11 out 10... Stayed in a lot of 5-star Hotels for work, they exceled on levels. If you're looking for a place then look no further, you're love it here.

Good, quiet location within 5 minutes walking distance of Goreme centre. Staff excellent, booked our hot air balloon ride and tours in advance and even gave us a free upgrade. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need.

La struttura è molto bella ed accogliente.Poche camere, la nostra era molto curata, piscina al centro e colazione sulla terrazza. Lo staff è molto accogliente, ti coccola e ti fanno sentire a casa. Il giorno del mio compleanno, a colazione, tutto lo staff mi ha portato una tortina con le candeline. Davvero molto carini. Ogni giorno una coccola e grande disponibilità.

The hotel was amazing ! Very clean and well located. The entire staff team was very sweet, caring and welcoming ! Thank you to Burak and Murat who have been very helpful throughout the whole stay ! The breakfast is amazing as well, the ladies were very sweet ! I would recommend this place for anyone that wants a good place to stay at in Cappadocia ☺️

Goreme Cave Lodge
Stayed 4 nights there. Were very happy with with our accommodation and the wonderful family that ran it. Nothing was too much trouble for them. When we arrived, Murat the owner sat with us and helped with our plans for hiking and sightseeing as we didn't have a car. We found a a car wasn't essential because restaurants, town centre and buses were all a 10 min walk. We also walked to the open air museum about 30mins on fairly flat ground
Hikes started or finished nearby and a local bus or taxi ride one way, took us to the other end of the hike.
The pool came in handy to refresh after a long hike and to sit by after sightseeing. Murat's sons or staff would offer free non alcoholic drinks by the pool, or in our case beer and wine glasses for alcohol which we had bought at the local wine shop, again 10 mins walk
The restaurants Murat recommended were fabulous especially Kilim a family run restaurant, with fantastic regional food, a nice view, and reasonably priced.

It was a very big pleasure to stay in this hotel. Very nice staff, very friendly. The room was big and felt like we were staying in the proper cave; it was very clean. Breakfast was good; staff were always welcoming us at breakfast and always were asking what we wanted for breakfast. The atmosphere overall was good and very quiet. It was worth every penny. Thank you again to all the staff and Murat, who was always looking after us. The location is very close to town; it's around a 5-minute walk to the shops, market, and restaurants.

We stayed for 6 nights in June 2026. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Goreme. We loved our beautiful room. They even upgraded us during our stay to an even more beautiful cave room. The swimming pool was a perfect added bonus to cool off after a day exploring. The hotel is family run and were so helpful with advice on trips and restaurants and booked us the most amazing balloon flight. They also brought us fresh fruit. Which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious and the views from the breakfast terrace were amazing especially watching the balloons at sunrise. We will definitely return to see you with our family and will be telling everyone about the beautiful hotel set amount the fairy chimneys. An absolutely amazing hotel and stay was had by us all. Will definitely be back.

We had a lovely comfortable stay here. Rooms were clean, quite and great value. Very conveniently located just 4 minutes from the town centre. Above all the staff, Murat, Bhurant and sons were so friendly and helpful and couldn't have done more. Always available on WhatsApp to confirm booking, reassure us when flight was 3 hours delayed that someone will be available on arrival late at night. Helped secure a sunrise balloon ride when our original booking got cancelled due to bad weather. That was so appreciated and comforting as that is what we came for all this way! They helped arrange site-seeing days with local transport and tours.
We highly recommend this place to stay, relax and enjoy Kapadokya. You won't be disappointed!

Friendly and caring staff, Good location

We stayed for 6 nights at the Goreme Cave Lodge Hotel with friends for my husband’s 60th birthday and it was absolutely incredible. The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Goreme and the rooms, pool, breakfast room and terrace are beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. So much attention to detail has been paid to the rooms and their layout and furnishings. Our cave room was stunning, authentic and absolutely charming. Access to the swimming pool to cool off after a day exploring topped our stay and was one of the many reasons we chose this hotel. Most notably however, is the exceptional guest experience. The family made such a fuss of my husband on his birthday and prepared a lovely birthday cake, they made us feel part of their family and so welcomed and taken care off. The hotel offers real personal touches that makes the guest experience first class. From the moment we booked our stay, communication with the family and the hotel was easy, professional and informative. They were so helpful and booked us the most amazing balloon flight. Safety and experience is what the hotel pride itself on and the company used for the magnificent balloons were first class. Smaller baskets, longer flying time and even when the weather delayed our initial flight, re booking us for another day was taken care of. We have not only enjoyed the hotel but all of the staff and family’s company. It’s been lovely getting to know them over our time here and Cappadocia really has been a once in a lifetime experience for us

Location, style, staff, breakfast

Nice location, easy to walk to town or to the ridge to watch balloons. Breakfast was delicious, great rooftop views and the service was fantastic. They helped arrange airport transfers as well and even made us an early breakfast when we left.

Hotel was fantastic. Lovely family who couldn't do enough for you. Great location. Rooms large and clean, with snacks given as a treat ie nuts or fruit. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful. Pool was lovely area to wind down and relax and refreshments were offered frequently.
