Lovely, clean hotel
Pros:

The room was extremely spacious and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean.

Great family rooms!
Pros:

The room was great for our family of 6, with two bathrooms and a lot of space. Beds were also very comfortable.

No food at all. Chefs want too much money apparently. Despite still being advertised on Booking.com as bed and breakfast. Only a skeleton staff at all times so just basic.

Hi,

I am writing to complain and request a refund for a recent booking.

I booked in for a Deluxe Double Room and it was really not to standard. The room was unclean, towels were dirty, curtains were stained, a flashing light in toilet, floor was soaked when you used a shower as there was a gap between shower door and bath. The bed was bumpy and uncomfortable. Pillows and quilt were not to a good standard and made for an uncomfortable night's sleep.

I have never left a hotel a day early in my life but I felt the room was not suitable for another nights stay meaning I have cut my holiday short and I would like to request a refund for my experiences.

The staff at the hotel reception where very helpful and knowledgeable when they were there but it was unstaffed at points meaning I couldn't make the above complaints.

I paid £240 for two nights and I am completely unstatisfied by what I have received.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Good inexpensive room.
Pros:

The price was very reasonable and the location is good. You can walk to the Balloch Ferry. Restaurants & bars are close by. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room was tiny, and there was no chair. Literally nowhere to sit except on the bed.

Stained room and a mattress where you can feel every spring.
Pros:

The location is good.

Cons:

The room isn't in great condition. There are stains on the wall and the makeup stool, and the mattress is quite uncomfortable—it feels like I can feel every single spring through the bed.

Bekvämt, mysigt, lätttillkommet och nära till restauranger.
Pros:

Ingen frukostmöjligheter på hotellet. Fint och tyst litet område. Mysigt område verkade det som men hade inte chansen att åka runt för det var bara en övernattning för att sedan tidigt på morgonen åka vidare mot Isle of skye. Bra med gratis parkering just utanför hotellet och där vi kunde se vår bil från fönstret.

Cons:

En hiss för äldre sällskap som kommer. Fanns bara trappor. Inga problem för oss som var yngre men har man tunga saker med sig eller svårt att gå i trappor kan det bli problematiskt då alla rum ligger en till två våningar upp om jag minns rätt.

Newly renovated rooms that were super comfortable, great communication from staff prior to arrival. Easy location to find

Disappointing.
Pros:

What breakfast? Disappointed in the changes that are happening in the hotel. No food served ! Had to go out for breakfast, unacceptable. Despite having stayed there in the past doubt if we’ll be back.

Cons:

Breakfast, it didn’t exist! Hotel is changing and not for the better! Jim and May have always been lovely to deal with and very helpful, they will be missed. Disappointed, unlikely to be back.
