An absolutely beautiful and memorable place, if not the comfiest.
Pros:

This was a quirky hippy campground right next to the lagoon — at the end of a long road through the jungle, so as quiet and dark as could be. We jumped into the water several times a day and loved it. Our kid enjoyed the family of ducks who wandered into the restaurant. The whole place had lots of character and staff were super nice. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and also ate dinner there every night so we could swim

Cons:

We booked the room with a sea view, because it was awfully hot and we needed air conditioning. The setup was a bit more rustic than we were expecting, with a creaky old bed and not much in the way of curtains so the sun woke us up by 7am. The room wasn't really sealed, so the A/C had to chug away all night.

La Laguna, tenes una vista y tranquilidad que no se ve en otro lado. Es LO ÚNICO BUENO.

Por empezar, lo que vimos en booking no es lo mismo que cuando llegas allá. Alquile una cabaña con aire acondicionado cuando llegamos nos dieron otra, desp de discutir nos pasaron a otra con aire, la dueña me trató de inútil y que no sabía manejar booking, se ve que mi novio y yo lo somos porq ambos leímos con aire acondicionado antes de reservar. Llegamos y en la recepción estaban sacando una serpiente (para ellos es normal), entramos a la habitación y había un alacrán (que también es normal para ellos) en definitiva podrían mejorar muchísimo porque tienen el privilegio de tener una excelente vista. Pero las habitaciones malas por el precio que pagamos.

La ubicación a orilla de la laguna de bacalar es excelente, el área de descanso muy bien amplio ubicación cómodo

Cons:

El camino de terraceria de 2 km necesita mantenimiento, no acostumbro el agua tratada para ducha, y el olor a cigarro que tenia la habitación al principio no me acostumbruaba

L’emplacement absolument superbe face à la lagune, un resto excellent (varié et pas cher ), petit dej différent les 3 jours . prêt de kayak et paddle très appréciable.
