We were accommodated in a rear facing room in an outhouse. Staff had to walk right past our window so we had no privacy and had to keep curtains closed.

Приехали немного раньше, была табличка, что отель закрыт. Указания по времени открытия не было. В итоге сидели в машине, в 15:30 приехали ещё гости и сразу заселились. Мы даже были не в курсе, что отель открыли, хотя машина стояла рядом со входом. Изнутри ее видно. Т.е.можно было позвать, когда двери открыли для гостей. Сколько бы мы сидели в машине, если бы не другие гости?

Not being told prior to arriving to check in at the hotel that we were infact staying at the house,a drive away and would need to get courtesy shuttle to and from hotel for our meal booking but shuttle was already booked for time that suited us best so were late meeting family for the meal. I'm anxious and having a last minute change of where you're staying made me uncomfortable with the unknown and destroyed that holiday feel,it would have been very easy for booking and the property to tell us in Advance " you're booked into Kylesku house,2km away and will need to book the shuttle for your meal).
We also had room 6.that although very comfortable, very noisy, we could hear the ventilaror, taps running and people going to toilet in room next door, really awful and would not stay again based on noise versus cost.

On arrival at the exact time said would arrive was told no one was available to check us in therefore we would need to wait for 20min, I had elderly parents & 2 children, we had all just been swimming in the sea and were cold and needed to check in to our rooms and have a shower. Turned out we only had to wait 5 minutes in the end.

A little on the expensive side, as was the restaurant and bar.

Mauvaise insonorisation, prix excessif pour une chambre supérieure qui a vue sur les toilettes et qui est placée au rdc sur le passage de tous les clients. Obligation de fermer les rideaux pour être tranquilles. Compétence du personnel pas à la hauteur du prix des chambres. Toutes les autres chambres que nous avons réservées en Ecosse étaient moins chères et beaucoup plus qualitatives.

Arriving at the restaurant for dinner, the staff member who greeted us was rude and dismissive. He appeared to be more interested in playing on the computer rather than greeting us. His mannerisms were also “off” when we paid him. This was a shame as all other members of staff were excellent.

The house itself was really nice, as mentioned in the “positives section”. However the room was extremely pokey and very hot. There was a fan provided but this didn’t help and obviously we couldn’t open the windows due to the amount of midgies in the area.

Preisleistung stimmt überhaupt nicht. Viel zu teuer. Zimmer hatte in den Hinterhof Aussicht und das Bad war an einem anderem Ort und nicht im Zimmer.

Breakfast was good but not at the same exceptional level as dinner. Finishing at 9:15 felt a little early for a relaxing stay.

C'est bien pour surveiller les voitures, mais alors que l'hôtel est quasi vide et vu le prix très onéreux payé ...Nous avons été très déçus .
