Casa TO - Adults Only

El aire acondicionado no se podía regular bien. Durante el día se escucha mucho ruido en las habitaciones, hasta las 23hs hay ruido del restaurante y del hotel en gral. No molesta tanto pero quizás se podrían cerrar mejor las aberturas.

No está justo en una Avenida principal y está A pocas cuadras de la playa aunque esto lo hace más privado

Para el precio que tiene por noche, es importante mencionar que la ubicación es mala, el acceso se complica. Los caminos de alrededor son de barro y piedras, incluso con moto es difícil llegar.
Otro tema importante es que no hay agua caliente, se escudan en que es eco friendly (que esta fenomenal), pero por el precio que pagas me parece que esto es un básico. El agua de la piscina también esta fría, que eso aun tiene un pase

The design of the place definitely prioritises style over comfort. The rooms are comfortable enough but sound echoes around the entire hotel like no other hotel I’ve been to. The music from the lobby, the restaurant, even the guests in the other rooms can all be heard in great great detail, if you catch my drift….
The pool is never really used because it’s inside and a bit chilly. It’s also in the lobby. Nice to perch by it for a bit though.
You can’t really get hot water at all unless in the afternoon as it is all powered by solar - obviously most people want a warm shower in the morning so that was a bit annoying, especially given how much this place costs to stay. This probably explains why the pool is so cold too, now I think of it. We stayed in a room with an outdoor bath but it had a drainy smell which put us off from being out there. Overall I think it is a bit overpriced given these drawbacks, but it was very cool to look at.

Peut être le fait que les personnes qui ont réservé au restaurant ont accès au lobby et prennent des photos de la piscine, cela entache l’intimité des clients de l’hôtel.

Mon séjour à Casa To a été une deception (au regard de la joie que je m’en faisais).
Les quelques chambres de l’hôtel se trouvent directement sous le restaurant Glou Glou, dont les bruits de service et la musique (tous deux intenses) s’entendent fortement dans les chambres. Malgré les bouchons d’oreilles, ce fut impossible de dormir. Il n’y avait également pas d’eau chaude car l’hôtel est alimenté aux panneaux solaires ce qui explique apparemment qu’il n’y en ait plus le soir. Enfin, l’hôtel se trouve au bout d’un chemin de terre entouré de débris, ce qui rend le court trajet à pieds jusqu’à la Punta assez surprenant.
Le manager n’était pas présent à l’hôtel lorsque j’y étais. J’ai finalement décidé d’écourter mon séjour.

Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Guests with breakfast included receive much smaller portions than non hotel guests sitting next to them, even though the bill later shows full priced portions and is used for tipping. This creates a clear sense of unfairness and was handled in a way that felt misleading when we raised it. The breakfast offering is also very rigid, with only filtered coffee included and paid coffee only available downstairs from 9 am.

Basic comfort was lacking. From the afternoon onward the water was lukewarm to cold, making a warm evening shower impossible. The outdoor bathtubs also only have cold water. The pool is ice cold and always in the shade, so it is not inviting to use. In both rooms the safes did not work, and in one case there was not even a key. Some bathroom amenities such as conditioner and hand soap also appeared watered down, which feels out of place for a hotel of this category.

Front staff weren’t friendly. They just didn’t even have a smile to greet us.
