Relaxing and quiet in the heart of town
Pros:

Quiet, comfortable room. Great bed, great shower. We had a suite on a special deal so it was nice to have a sofa and that living space. The pool and spa were closed while we were there which we knew about in advance but the beautiful garden was open which we enjoyed as it was still hot and sunny. Very good breakfast and lovely staff.

Cons:

The scented sticks were a bit much - I had to put them outside. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room and perhaps a little information of what was available on site in terms of wine, snacks etc. But these are very small things - we had a great stay.

Very handy and comfortable location to city
Pros:

Great people and breakfast was superb. It was is in walking distance to the museums and other attractions.
Great wine cellar with local cooler climate reds and whites.

Cons:

Portalegre roads are narrow .

Muito boa.
Pros:

O quarto era amplo e luminoso.
O colchão era ótimo, a roupa de cama era suave e os atoalhados para os banhos eram absorventes.
Os produtos da casa de banho eram bons.
O jardim era agradável e o pequeno almoço foi variado.

Um palácio a conhecer

Do ambiente, do bom gosto, da tranquilidade, do quarto maravilhoso (torrão real), que tem uma área bastante generosa, incluindo a do WC e da vista para a rua, da simpatia dos funcionários, sobretudo daquele que estava na recepção.

Cons:

Não houve nada assim de muito desagradável. No entanto, gostaríamos de sugerir:
- salvo para pessoas com pouca mobilidade, o pequeno-almoço podia ser buffet. Sabemos que querem que prevaleça o luxo, mas ainda assim, nos dias que correm, preferíamos daquela maneira;
- nos dias de festividades, as pessoas não deveriam estar no mesmo espaço do que os hóspedes (o caso da piscina, que tinha bastantes pessoas).
- como estava muito calor (cerca de 38 graus), na cama poderia haver um lençol e só depois o edredão, porque dormir tão agasalhos num verão tão quente é complicado.
