Home from home

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt right at home at Nohasi Palace Hotel & Spa. We felt a sense of loss when it came for our time to leave!
The staff are all extremely warm, from the maintenance staff to the proprietors, most with impeccable English (all staff spoke better English than we spoke Italian!) and nothing is ever too much trouble - I even had a massage on my terrace because being Irish, I struggle with hot temperatures! The two pet cats are equally welcoming and also deserve a mention!
Serena, one of the husband-and-wife duo proprietors, never appears to leave the premises, she’s so dedicated to it. She is also personally responsible for any weight gain we have experienced over the past week!
The food is amazing and just what you would expect from Italy and more, with the 5-star touches. Being allergic to fish and seafood, my husband and I particularly liked the variety of the Pizza Menu but we also found delicious dishes on the two occasions we ordered from the main À La Carte Menu in the restaurant. Continental and cooked options are available for breakfast and locally-produced pastries.
The hotel itself is tastefully decorated with soft, luxury furnishings and the very best of technology, fittings and appliances throughout. Even the swimming pool has underwater piano music playing, which I’ve only ever witnessed once before. The music playlist being gently pumped throughout the hotel was a hit too.
The private use of the spa is a nice feature and it adds that something special to the experience, which is probably the best way to describe the hotel: luxurious with the little extras that don’t go unnoticed.
We will definitely be back.
