A nice, cosy small apartment in the spider centre of Amsterdam. Well equipped, comfortable, easily accessible. Can't say anything about staff, everything was working with the application. Well connected, lovely neighbourhood. Good wifi.
I downloaded the app, but believe it works also without that. So nothing to comment extra upon.
Spacious, good location easy to check in.
We were upgraded to the top floor but noticed when getting to the top levels it became very hot. Our room only had a fan and it became difficult to sleep as there was no air conditioner.
Super comfortable bed. Good size for two people. Great location near trams for access to the city and De Pijp

The unit itself was nice but WAY too expensive for what it is. It was such a small place and really just a bed with a bathroom. Not worth the $500 in my opinion.
Location
The rooms were run down and they took a €200 security deposit for each room which they said would be refunded on the day of departure and now I have been told that it will only be refunded within 14 days. That is unacceptable.

You get to spend every day chasing and following up with customer support for help after receiving a room in horrible state, only to be provided lies till you check out. Meanwhile they have no intention of addressing anything.
Paid for a room with a tv, good luck you get to stare at a dirty tv for 5 days or however long your stay is.
You get to carry your suitcases up 3 flights of very steep stairs.
You get to enjoy the same bedding and towels with no cleaning even for 5 days and a privilege to pay for cleaning if you requests it for a long stay.
On the flip side, the lady working at the property on the day I checked out was kind
HORRIBLE Customer support.
My room had a million and one issues ... Broken TV for the entire 5 day stay, no cleaning other than change of sheets or even fresh towels in 5days.
I arrived and found a room that looked clean but there were hairs on the pillow cases - so I requested for fresh pillowcases - I'm still waiting ... :-)
Very grimy, nasty, dirty tv remote with buttons clogged with dirt.
Very dirty and nasty shower curtain with a grimy brown dirt line at the bottom and blood stains.
Very uncomfortable pillows.
SAFETY PROBLEM. - No door locks on the inside, latch or door lock chain. Anyone with the code like the staff could just open and come in without the occupant's knowledge or consent.
Even something as basic in hospitality as Do Not Disturb door hangers.I asked for them on night one. 5 days later I had to check out still waiting.
The room I received was NOT like in the pictures. I received a bed with only 2 pillows not as photographed. I raised all these issues with the property's customer service after my first night ... they did nothing. Just kept promising "someone will pop by tomorrow" but nothing was done .... EVEN the fresh towels I requested!
For all these inconveniences, the property saw it wise to ignore me and instead offer me a measly 30euros refund. Think of it as half a euro for every minute I wasted with customer service.
Before the property responds to this review with some PR statement, I've gotta clarify the many times I had to follow up with customer service on a daily basis... No, you deliberately refused to address my concerns and completely ruined my stay in Amsterdam.
They should change their motto to "We host with incompetence, horrible customer support and a touch of racism."
