Ours was a split stay. Second stay was more comfortable.
Pros:

Great location. Everything was walkable.

Cons:

Our room for this stay was too small and the air conditioning was not strong enough. For our next stay we had been switched to a room which had more space and superior A/C. Grateful to the staff for that change. Thank you.

Beautiful central location, clean room, and friendly staff.
Pros:

The location was excellent, with lots of lovely bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Our room was extremely clean, and we enjoyed our breakfasts. Staff were friendly, and we were welcomed with a glass of wine on arrival.

Cons:

The room wasn't as cold as we would have liked with the AC not going lower than 21 degrees. There is building work going on directly next door which started quite early, and put us off from having lunch or drinks at the hotel. We also found the same music played on loop whenever we were inside.

Camera estremamente piccola, lavandino stretto, rubinetto lungo quanto il lavandino (l'acqua usciva non appena le mani la toccavano),
tappeto della doccia giallo e sporco..
Quasi nulle le alternative senza glutine (per celiachia e sensibilità), parte del personale indisponente al problema, nonostante la situazione fosse stata segnalata in grande anticipo.

Lovely staff and very comfortable rooms. Perfect location for exploring the old town. We were kindly upgraded room as it was my birthday the day before, as well as a complementary bottle of sparkling wine.

Cons:

There was extremely noisy construction being undertaken in the connected building, this started from around 6am and continued during breakfast. Understand that this isn't the fault of the hotel, but it would have been good to have been pre-warned about this. We were allowed to have breakfast outside on request this morning, but were denied the morning after, unfortunately. It is a shame because the tables by the river are lovely!

A comfortable hotel with excellent food, the guest experience was let down by inconsistent service
Pros:

The hotel is ideally located for exploring the Old City Centre. Check-in was pleasant, and the complimentary welcome drink was a thoughtful touch. Having an on-site restaurant and breakfast included was a real bonus, and the food was consistently of a high standard. Although the room was compact, it was well presented, tastefully furnished, and the beds were very comfortable, making for a great night's sleep.

Cons:

The hotel has everything it needs to be a standout, but unfortunately the service from some of the staff let the overall experience down.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was because breakfast was included, and we were already familiar with the restaurant. Unfortunately, the breakfast service was disappointing. We were shown to a table and given a menu, but there was little to no explanation of how the service worked. For example, it would have been helpful to know that coffee was self-service.

On the first morning my breakfast order was incorrect, but no one returned to the table to check if everything was satisfactory or ask if we needed anything else.

On the second morning, part of my order never arrived. Again, after the initial order was taken, no staff checked on us. Eventually, I approached the staff, who were chatting, leaning on the bar, and completing other tasks rather than attending to guests. A staff member advised that the missing item was on its way, but after waiting longer it still never arrived. There were only two occupied tables in the restaurant, and the other table had already received their full order. In the end, we left without receiving part of our breakfast, and no one appeared concerned that we were leaving dissatisfied.

On our second evening, despite being hotel guests, we were required to go online and book a table for dinner. While I understand the need to manage reservations and reduce no-shows, I would have like a more convenient option for in-house guests. Even allowing reception or the restaurant to make the booking, or charging a no-show fee to the room if required, would have provided a much better guest experience.
