Nice hotel in the old town and perfect for exploring Ljubljana
Pros:

Location in the old town is perfect for discovering the city.
Reception desk staff were excellent. Liked that breakfast was available until 11

Cons:

Staff on duty in the restaurant were possibly too relaxed - standing around laughing and joking (louder than the restaurant music) when there were no cups at the tea and coffee machine.
Bowl i received breakfast in the first day had a big chip out of the edge.

Outside the Hotels control but there is construction taking place (Sept 26) in the building next door and the construction work and hammering starting around 7 and then the drilling starts at 8. We weren’t advised on checking that this construction work would be like this during our stay.

We had a wonderful week.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good, we could choose two things off the menu.
The room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable.
We had two evening meals in the restaurant and both were excellent.
The room was kept at a comfortable temperature.
The staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The entrance to the hotel was not obvious and, because it was in the pedestrian area. our taxi had to leave us a five minute walk away. It was difficult with a suitcase over the cobbles.
The lighting in our bedroom was too dim.
The shower over the bath was difficult to navigate for people with more limited mobility.
We had some noise from the building work next door, but less than it might have been.

Una casi gran experiencia….
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente y en general el hotel es bueno.

Cons:

Pésimo aire acondicionado. NO FUNCIONABA y en estos tiempos que corren, con las olas de calor, un hotel de 4 o 5 estrellas NO PUEDE NO TENER UN AIRE ACONDICIONADO ADECUADO

Fabulous hotel in Old Town Ljubljana.
Pros:

The location is excellent, on the riverside in a pedestrian area. The hotel restaurant is very good but there are many other restaurants and bars close by. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful.

Cons:

Could not fault the hotel at all

Tolle Lage, tolles Frühstück
Pros:

Frühstück und Restaurant sehr gut. Unser Zimmer hatte eigentlich kein Fenster aber ich fand es nicht so schlimm. Wir haben nur eine Nacht hier verbracht. Direkte Lage in der wundervollen Innenstadt. Baulärm hatten wir auch, hoffentlich ist die Baustelle bald zu Ende.

Hotel for a short stay
Pros:

Great location. Staff was friendly and offered a welcome drink. Central to most sites in the city. Room was very small. Easily accommodates one person but may be tight for two.

Cons:

AC was noisy and didn't ever seem to reach the temperature it was set at. No window in room.

Superb location in the heart of Ljubljana
Pros:

Superb location right in the heart of Ljubljana, staff at reception very friendly.

Cons:

Room felt cramped and uncomfortable. Difficult to control temperature in room to bring down further. Construction work also started at 8AM as permitted and while it was out of the hotels hands it was a tad frustrating to wake up to drilling each day.

Fantastic boutique hotel
Pros:

Fantastic boutique hotel with an unbeatable location in the old town, right next to the river. Our room was modern, cosy and super clean, and the staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Breakfast is à la carte and freshly cooked, which was a lovely touch. The biggest surprise was the hotel restaurant — our dinner there was the best food we had in Ljubljana, and we enjoyed every restaurant we visited. Truly a wonderful stay.

Pros:

All clean and nice inside. Breakfast was included and was tasty

Cons:

Bit difficult to find, directly inside a restaurant. Make sure you reserve parking!!!! I didn’t realise you had to, and then had to pay €35 euros for 24 hours in a nearby garage
