Location, rooms, beds etc were all fantastic!
We experienced some of the most shocking customer service and rudest staff we've ever come across. They sent up a faulty/damaged iron and refused to accept any responsibility when it damaged one of our dresses. Even a simple apology and a commitment to repair or remove the iron from rotation would have been sufficient.
On the day of check out we came down for breakfast in the last 20mins of the breakfast period and were repeteadly told to "hurry up, lady" and spoken to so incredibly rudely by one of the wait staff. The chef refused to prepare one of the orders and we weren't informed until after they closed the kitchen. We spoke with the chef who attempted (pathetically) to intimidate us and watched as he and the member of the wait staff blamed eachother for the issue.
It was clear that despite the hotel having lovely rooms in a central location, management are clearly doing a terrrible job at creating a safe and productive working environment for their staff - I can't imagine that the terrible customer service could be caused by anything other than an abusive workplace that thrives on blame culture. I'd advise management to rethink how they treat their staff so that they can provide a consistent service to the customers.
It's a real shame that the customer service completely overshadowed what would otherwise have been a lovely stay.

The Hotel is in the heart of the old town, so very convenient for all sightseeing. Having breakfast sitting outside by the river is very pleasant and to be recommended. Everything very clean and the staff were lovely.
The room was not like the picture - it was quite a lot smaller. It was called Deluxe, and was described as spacious, but really wasn’t. There was very little space between the end of the bed and the desk. Also, just one window, whereas two in the marketing photo, so not as light as we’d hoped. The room next door looked far more like the Deluxe model we had expected.

Du chocolat chaud aurait été apprécié au petit déjeuner. L’air conditionné fonctionne bien mais est particulièrement bruyant.

The beds were very comfortable and we had a wonderful hot shower every night.
One morning we had to go out early for a tour and when we wanted to go for breakfast at 7:00 the waiter rudely scold us away as they were not ready. We only got breakfast at 07:20.
