Important information:

An Infrastructure tax was introduced by the Zanzibar government from 1st July 2015. The tax of US$5 per person per day is to be collected by the hotel accommodations from all inhouse guests on behalf of the Zanzibar Revenue Board (ZRB). This amount is payable directly on check-in.

We accept MasterCard and Visa. Please be advised that all credit card payments will incur a surcharge of 3%.

For bookings of up to 5 rooms, a different cancelation policy applies. Cancelations must be made at least 60 days before arrival to avoid a 100% cancelation fee. Additionally, prepayment is required 60 days prior to arrival. Failure to remit payment by the deadline will result in the reservation being released.

Pros:

The room was great although slightly noisy from the street outside. Be aware there is a switch for the hot water when you shower.

The air conditioning was great and the breakfast was incredible.

Cons:

The staff were great up until check out where they were very insistent that my friends give feedback on the stay (big group in multiple different rooms). If they didn't give the highest score they were approached by multiple staff and asked why. I can appreciate the drive to make improvements but my friends felt hassled and even though we had a taxi waiting they still insisted the feedback be filled out.

Perfetto per brevi soggiorni e pochi bagagli
Pros:

Shaba boutique hotel è una chicca all'interno di Stone Town: ambiente in stile arabeggiante, climatizzazione ottima, personale accogliente disponibile e gentile come pochi.

Cons:

venivamo dal Safari in Tanzania e da Nungwi quindi avevamo ben 6 valigie : la camera era veramente minuscola, non avevamo spazio per aprire i bagagli e poche mensole come armadio infilate nell anti bagno accanto il lavabo. Sbattevamo sempre contro la tv e altri arredi per via dello spazio ridotto attorno al letto.

It is an old school boutique on the heard of stone town.
Pros:

Very good location if you are looking for cultural experiences

Cons:

The room was small, the shower was right on top of the toilet and the room a humid. At night felt dangerous to walk around, although we did and it was fine

Pros:

Location is good in the heart of stone town.

Cons:

The pictures do not corrisponde to the real room is not so colorfull and the window are not as big as the picture.

The value 3 we are giving is not because the hotel was bad, we found it overall clean. bud only do not correspond to what they have in booking.

Breakfast was various and good and staff as well super friendly.

But we expected a 4 stars hotel as mentioned, but tv was not working (not that we cared) toilet was tiny and floor was not as clean.

Al the rest was clean and nice but really do not represent the images on booking.

Das Zimmer war gross angegeben, doch es war klein und hatten allerdings einen grossen Balkon. Dieser war sehr schön. Das Frühstück ist gut und das Personal war sehr bemüht. Ein guter Aufenthalt in Stone Town. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war nicht ganz so gut. Passables Hotel doch müsste es günstiger werden.

L'emplacement est parfait, en plein centre de Stone Town.

La qualité du matelas était vraiment mauvaise, il y avait beaucoup de lumière dans la rue et dans la chambre. Une odeur bizarre dans la chambre.

Very cute little
Hotel in the middle of stone town! Short walk from taxi drop off, and let us check in at 3am! Staff were lovely, room was lovely, clean and comfy I would definitely stay at Shaba again

Lovely place to stay in Stone Town
Pros:

The property staff were very kind and helpful. The location was very good and the cozy breakfast area was just right for their nice breakfast.
