Airone Capsule Hotel

A restful sleep depends entirely on the courtesy and respect of your neighbours. Talking on the phone extremely late at night can be heard through the walls easily. Another guest turned the washing machine on after midnight which was very loud (clear signs saying not to be used after 9pm). Someone had their power bank taken when charging it at the wall outside the capsule.

Noise is still an issue though, the lockers make beeping sounds, as do the capsule doors, but nothing too bad or anything. The one major concern is that my entire row was empty but I kept getting guests checking in and out of the capsules immediately next to and above mine... Thus I had to deal with snoring/coughing which I felt could have been avoided. I did ask, and was told that guests specifically asked for these capsules due to being closest to wifi, so I suppose there's a need to improve wifi connectivity throughout the dorm. The other source of noise pollution was from the cleaner who seemed very aggressive in handling things... Capsules were a little cold, but they do have heaters lying around, perhaps I should have asked if they could be used or not... Still, not counting the bad luck with capsule assignments, it was better than expected, and I would stay again in winter, especially if I needed to be in the central area. May be too crowded and noisy in summer, but I wouldn't know for sure. Another thing is that for those who need to cook meals, the kitchen doesnt allow cooking, not an issue for me, but keep that in mind.

The room is a bit dusty

I received the instructions to get access to the building so close to the check-in time rather than earlier, so I could organise myself better. Also, I sent a question to the staff about wifi. I didn't get any response. I recommend improving the communication.

The toilets were horrible, looks like no one cleaned it in a while, they where smelly and dirty. Also the place is so noisy, and the facilities are terribles.

Only two showers for females, one was partly broken. It was cold and capsule heat function had been disabled. No power sockets on capsule and usb socket was older style so didn’t work with more recent cabling.

No doors on the dorms, including female only dorm. so you can hear all foot traffic in the hallways throughout the night.
You can see straight into the kitchen/lounge area from the street.
Found just a little bit overpriced, considering it is not staffed
