Love staying here!
Pros:

Excellent place to stay. The staff were helpful and thoughtful offering to bring drinks to them room when we returned for the day and when we arrived after midnight, there were sandwiches waiting for us!!

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour à l'hôtel Ecole St. Pierre, situé dans une rue calme du quartier central et animé de la tour Galata. L'hôtel est très agréable, moderne, confortable et parfait pour passer un séjour de quelques jours à Istanbul.

Joli mais manquant d'âme et problème de climatisation

C'est un bel hôtel, moderne, confortable et bien placé pres de la tour de galata

Cons:

Je trouve qu'il manque d'âme, de caractère alors que c est à priori un hotel historique. Pendant ce meme voyage j'ai également logé au Péra palace hôtel... Établissement historique aussi,moins cher et où on se sentait transporté en passant la porte... Ce qui ne fut pas le cas ici. Mais c'est une belle rénovation.
Par ailleurs, la climatisation de la chambre fonctionnait mal...la chaleur nous a réveillés dans la nuit.

Beautifully designed hotel with warm, attentive staff and a unique atmosphere
Pros:

Beautifully designed hotel with super welcoming staff and premium attention to detail. The room was amazing and the quality of everything was excellent. The atmosphere is unique and the workers are genuinely friendly. Special mention to the taxi service they arranged to get us back to the airport — truly great. Will gladly recommend.

Cons:

A few flies in our room, and being right on the street we could hear some passers-by (though not enough to really bother us). The lobby felt a bit humid and had a trapped, stale smell; though this didn't extend to the rooms or elsewhere. The main letdown was breakfast: as vegans we couldn't enjoy the full menu, but even so it felt basic and not very inclusive, and the items we did order were underwhelming (flavorless tea, unripe avocado, industrial croissants). A missed opportunity given how great everything else is.

Charming and beautiful hotel in great location.
Pros:

This is the most charming, cosy hotel in a great location. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and made a point of touching base regularly to see if we needed anything. Nothing was too much trouble. Elcin on the front desk was particularly amazing, as well has our hilarious waiter Hakan, who remembered our coffee order after the first day. The restaurant serves better Italian food than I had in Italy. And sitting in the courtyard is like a little slice of Paris. The rooms are pristine and so comfortable, with little gifts and notes left most days. There is nowhere in Istanbul that is 'close to everything' but Ecole St Pierre is steps away from Galata Tower, and we were able to walk to Taskim square via the Mall, to Galata Port shops and restaurant, to Galata Bridge, the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market, and then it's only a bit further to the old town main attractions. But it's close to tram and metro for anything further. Highly recommend this hotel. It doesn't have the pool etc of the big chain hotels, but makes up for it with intimacy, personal service and charm.
