Slightly disappointing
Pros:

The rooms are comfortable and clean, the overall vibe of the hotel was really nice.

Cons:

I booked this for my partners 30th birthday - was hoping it would feel slightly more special. No mention or happy birthday at check in despite me mentioning it. I would even say that the attitude at the desk was unfriendly and cold. The same at the restaurant (excluding the girl with curly hair who was lovely). We did end up being offered 2 complimentary drinks which was a nice touch although slightly wasted on us as we don’t drink. On the whole the service at the hotel was really below par this time despite it being fantastic the last time I stayed. Check in staff seemed very disinterested and the same when we came back later that evening to ask a couple of questions. When I stayed last time the service at Chet’s was noticeably poor and unfortunately this time was even worse. Every time we attempted to a book a table, we were unable to attract staff members attention. We ended up coming for Saturday brunch and again, service was slow and inattentive (we struggled to get attention despite being only one of 2 tables). Wrong drinks were served to us and it seemed kitchen was busy preparing for private event rather than restaurant guests. A real shame as this hotel and restaurant has the potential to be really great but is let down by its service. Perhaps they are catering more towards corporate guests and we were unlucky this weekend! However, when you want to celebrate a special milestone it is especially disappointing when you are left feeling that you could have had a better experience elsewhere. I would stay here again for convenience , but perhaps not for a special event.

Friendly hotel, great location for local amenities, pubs, restaurants, and three tube stations.
Pros:

The hotel had a nice atmosphere and friendly staff on reception. The air con worked, and you needed a key to use the lifts which made us feel safe, and happy that our key cards were working before we got to our room. There are plugs next to each side of the bed and soft lighting for reading.

Cons:

Our room smelled of damp, which was coming from the bathroom which didn't have an extractor fan or window. We did not eat at the hotel, but were surprised that the bar closed so early in the evenings, but the local pubs were excellent, we visited all three.

Pros:

Staff are amazing and so helpful. The room is a decent size and has amazing toiletries.
There's nothing bad I can say about The Hoxton and it's my fourth time staying in this particular Hoxton Hotel.
Bed is ridiculously comfortable.

Great stay, would recommend.
Pros:

Super clean room, very comfortable bed and especially good AC. The location was perfect to reach Central London, close to several metro stations and bus. Around the hotel various caffes for breakfast.

Cons:

I had the smaller room with window and the only thing I would have liked to be added was a place to put my luggage. As I was staying alone, it didn't get in my way too much, though.
