My stay at the ladybird hotel was great I really enjoyed my own space since I went alone

The pictures don't do justice to the actual space. The suite was absolutely amazing, spacious and well furnished. The actual hotel was just as beautiful with stunning views and an amazing breakfast. The eggs were delicious!

Big disappointment. Skipped breakfast and went to a proper hotel.

We were welcomed by some kitchen staffer wearing a dirty apron and beanie on his head. Receptionist unprofessional and not professionally dressed. Paid for the suite but was allocated a standard room. Found used feminine products in the bin in the bathroom and cigarette buds in a pot plant on the veranda. Place needs a serious clean and upgrade and some training in what it means to be a boutique "hotel".

Cons:

Erg gehorige kamers, het leek erop dat ze bij ons bezoek nog niet klaar waren voor gasten. Het was redelijk amateuristisch voor dit soort hotel. Bij het ontbijt zit maar 1 drankje inbegrepen. We moesten onze tweede drankje betalen… Nog niet eerder meegemaakt

Our stay was lovely and elegant. You can hang around to relax or go out and explore.
Pros:

Ladybird boutique Hotel is beautiful elegant accommodation from where travellers can explore the best of Cape Town and surroundings. Breakfast is simple, tasty and sufficient.

Cons:

I assumed that the accommodation will be on the mountain side of farm and was disappointed to found it next to the road.

The location is great! The views are nice!

Cons:

The first room we got to the lights weren’t working. After they moved us to a different room, the TV wasn’t plugged in. The quilt/throw on the bed was also stained.

Some basic checks that I feel were missed.

The reception staff was great at trying to solve the issue himself, but I think there should be more staff or support for him.

At breakfast, the waiter was very unfriendly, sighing when taking our order. My order- the full continental breakfast- only consisted of yogurt, muesli and fruit even though the menu stated it includes: breads, pastries, cheeses and cold meats. The juice canister was also empty and when asking they provided juice that tasted similar to Oros.

A lot can be improved, to fit in with the beautiful decor and location.
