Lime Resort El Nido

The location, the room, and all the amenities were amazing! The food was satisfying each and every time, our regular waitress Faulainne did an amazing job! Very attentive with food and drinks, hardworking, and such a positive aura overall, surely added to the experience! I recommend the lime life experience, and the excursions were very accessible!

The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. They always greeted us with a warm "Good morning," "Good afternoon," and "Good evening," which made us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The hotel was spotless, well-maintained, and always smelled fresh and clean. The buffet breakfast deserves extra praise, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that changed every day. 💯 The hotel's location was excellent—quiet, peaceful, and spacious, making it the perfect place to relax. One of the highlights of our stay was watching the sunset from the Sky Lounge. It was absolutely magnificent and mesmerizing—no words can truly describe how breathtaking the view of the sunset was.

A short ride from the town center, this hotel was a great stay. The service was great all around. Our server Randz took care of us a couple of days and was a good host.

The infinity pool right at the shore gave great views of the sunset. They also provide other good amenities such as breakfast, afternoon ice cream, and popcorn.

Would recommend this spot for someone looking to find a modern hotel without breaking the bank.

I visited Lime Resort El Nido during my pre-birthday trip to El Nido. While I was looking forward to exploring the islands and trying different activities, a typhoon forced us to change our plans. Instead, we decided to avail of the resort's day pass for ₱1,500, which included ₱1,000 consumable for food and drinks—and it turned out to be a wonderful alternative.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Rud Ann at the front desk. Her cheerful personality, professionalism, and genuine hospitality immediately made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. She explained everything clearly and ensured we had a pleasant start to our day.

We spent the day enjoying the resort's beautiful pool, breathtaking views, and relaxing atmosphere. The food and drinks were satisfying, and the service from the bar and restaurant team was excellent. A special mention goes to Mr. Hans, who consistently checked on us and made sure we were enjoying our refreshments. His attentiveness and friendly service truly enhanced our experience.

Although the weather prevented us from exploring El Nido the way we had planned, Lime Resort turned an otherwise disappointing day into a relaxing and enjoyable one. The stunning views, impressive facilities, and exceptional customer service made every peso of the day pass worthwhile.

If you're looking for a place to unwind in El Nido—even if just for the day—I highly recommend Lime Resort El Nido. Their outstanding hospitality and beautiful setting made our unexpected change of plans feel like a blessing in disguise. Thank you to the entire team for making my pre-birthday getaway a memorable one. I look forward to visiting again, hopefully with better weather next time.

We’re still staying at Lime Resort, but I already wanted to share how wonderful our experience has been so far. From the day we arrived, Kuya Jorez has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Even with the typhoon, he and the entire team have done everything they could to ensure we still enjoy our stay.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. We also really appreciate all of Kuya Jorez’s recommendations, they’ve made our trip even more enjoyable.

This hotel has so much potential to be better than it is. I decided to rank is "poor" vs "average" (2 stars vs 3) because they advertise themselves as this really nice hotel with great pictures, but the pictures do not tell the full story. They do have a nice pool view on the 7th floor , and the soft serve ice cream in the Sky Lodge during happy hour is a nice treat. But beyond that there are a lot of issues we encountered.

First are general bathroom problems and issues. No toilet paper when arriving. Shower gel was empty. Toilet plugged up more than once. Had to keep asking for extra hand and bath towels.

Then the room itself had a lot of quality and maintenance issues. The refrigerator in the room was broken and we had to have it replaced from another room. The beds are small- they are not even queen sized, more like double size. The room safe was not even mounted to the wall- not very secure! And the room has this bad design where there is a glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom, so every time someone uses the bathroom and turns the light on, it also lights up the bedroom- not fun when trying to sleep. Our room and our friend's room on the same floor (5th floor) had a bad odor to it.

Then the hotel itself has a lot of shortcomings. The breakfast food was good, and they had an egg/omelette station. The view from the Sky Lodge is nice with the pool, and you can get drinks and food there. But this hotel has absolutely no fans installed in any of the open areas like the lobby or the Sky Lodge by the pool! The Philippines is very warm year round- yes hot for most of us- and this hotel does not have central air conditioning. You walk in the lobby or leave your room to the hallway, and a wall of hot humid mass hits you. Not having any fans installed anywhere makes the experience worse.

The stairs design is not well thought out- you cannot take the stairs directly from the ground floor to the Sky Lodge. The elevator stopped working at least once, and many times the elevator would "forget" your floor selected and you would not get to your floor.

For room views and noise, if your room is not at least on the 5th floor or higher, you will not have a good view. From the 5th floor, we had a partial ocean view. All the rooms on the other side of the hotel closer to the road have no views at all. There is no beach area in front of the hotel that you would want to visit- the area is very small, and the water is dirty there. You can walk along the beach from the Lime Resort to the area where the boats / Bangkas are located for island tours, but it is a pretty long walk in the heat. If your room is on the side where the hotel entrance is, there are local dogs that bark late at night outside of your room. The Lime is not close to the local El Nido area, for shopping, walking, eating. Yes you can get a tuk-tuk for 150 pesos each way, but if your group is more than 3 people that is a lot to coordinate and limits options.

A lot of these complaints could be easily fixed by the hotel resort management or ownership, but I guess they choose not to. The staff service at this hotel was mixed- some people were helpful, but others like the concierge desk were not helpful when asking for assistance.

It is not the worst hotel in El Nido, but because it falls short of expectations that is the reason it was not ranked higher.

Ocean view is beautiful. They are sitting on a gold mine. However the restaurant service was slow and there were dead bugs outside. The infinity pool is gorgeous but needs to be updated because there are tiles falling off. The rooms were clean and staff is friendly. This is a good place to stay if you’re just going to spend all day outside

The beach view is beautiful and the employees are kind. This hotel has a beautiful theme to it and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast area is good and the food options are good for someone like me who has a peanut allergy.
