Location
Rooms not ready when we arrived early evening.
Child cot not in room despite multiple requests at time of booking and before arrival.
No breakfast despite high price.
Receptionist on her first day but unsupported by senior staff.
Owner/manager (male) had a disinterested, couldn’t care less attitude.
No apology for rooms not being ready.
No query whether everything was ok when we handed in our keys.
This business does not deserve to succeed.
Definitely NOT value for money.
AVOID!!!
We didn’t like the property because we had an unpleasant experience.
Our reservation was mistakenly given to someone else. We had to wait a long time for the woman at the front desk to give us another room. We found a bed bug on the bed sheet and quickly gathered our belongings then left the room. We went to the lobby to report the bed bug discovery, found no one there to help and lights turned off. The hotel is not refunding our money for a room that was not used.
Good hearty breakfast, with good choice of food.
Rooms are a little dated and could do with a facelift
Die Lage
Es gab KEINE einzige Aufhängemöglichkeit
Great local pub, clean, great atmosphere, live music, rooms well sound proofed, good pub food, good breakfast, Very happy.
Location was great for where I needed to be. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly. Was room only, so didn't eat in the hotel. Room was good size for what was paid, the bathroom was very small but just about managable.
bathroom is very small, small TV,
The staff was very friendly, helpful and kind.
We were impressed by how clean the hotel was, though a bit dated.
Basic breakfast, but well cooked and delicious. Very good coffee
Nothing major, more like heads up. If you have an electric toothbrush or shaver buy an European plug in as there's none in the bathroom
Das traditionelle Ambiente, das großzügige Zimmer. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, die Einrichtung stilvoll und wie in einem alten schottischen Herrenhaus.
Es gab keinen Fahrstuhl in den 2. Stock. Die Toilettenspülung funktionierte zunächst nur zögerlich.
We were driving through Scotland and just finding a place at the last minute. Checking in was so easy
The front desk attendant was so helpful and didn't mind silly questions from tired travellera
The hotel is outdated and has a musty smell to it, but has an old hotel feel about it.
La habitación grande
El agua tibia de la ducha
Location and room size.
Very understaffed. Breakfast was not available during our one-night stay (Sunday morning).
We didn't see any staff the 3 days we stayed , we booked for breakfast but there was no staff to be found for both nights and both mornings and had to go over the road to get breakfast.
Better than staying in Inverness which is ridiculously overpriced! Catch a bus there for 2 pounds 💷. This beautiful pub has been in The Stewart Family forever. Best hotel room with Scottish Charm. Local people in the pub made me so welcome 🙏. 1/4 the price of Inverness hotels and twice as nice! 😊
The room is decked out in traditional tartan colours and Scottish furnishings.
