Solo female, this is an excellent location in a pleasant safe neighborhood.
Walkable to all the sites yet peaceful and quite.
The rooms are clean and the bad is so comfortable.!!

Wir waren mit dem Hotel sehr zufrieden. Unser Zimmer wurde jeden Tag gereinigt und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist einfach perfekt – nur etwa fünf Minuten von der Hagia Sophia entfernt. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, sodass es trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig und angenehm war. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich.

Wenn wir wieder nach Istanbul kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten. Wir können es absolut weiterempfehlen!

We were very happy with our stay at the hotel. Our room was cleaned every day and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely perfect – only about five minutes from Hagia Sophia. It is situated on a quiet side street, so despite being in such a central location, it was peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was also very delicious and had a good variety.

If we come to Istanbul again, we would definitely stay at the same hotel. We highly recommend it!

Recommend this hotel. All the staff were extra friendly including the ladies downstairs. The beds were comfy. The hotel is easy walking distance to restaurants, famous sites and trams.

Our room was spacious with an amazing view.
We were walking distance to everything and the neighbourhood was safe and interesting to walk around at night.

A truly charming family run boutique hotel lovingly restored. Very helpful and kind staff. Breakfast included was a lovely start to the day in the courtyard. It is a great location, a short walk to all the main historic buildings.

Ubicació inmillorable, distància a peu de Topkapi, Santa Sofia etc. Habitacio petita pero molt correcte i bany precios i comode. Aire acondicionat i personal molt amable i detallista. Terrassa excepcional.

Hotel Turkish House is a small, easy-to-miss boutique hotel deep in the winding cobbled streets of the old Sultanahmet district of Istanbul, a short walk from the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia.
Check in was pleasant and quick, complete with complimentaryTurkish tea and biscuits. They insisted on giving us a free upgrade to a third floor superior room, which they said would be quieter (the room itself looked pretty much the same to me but, yes, it was quiet).
Despite.the older style of the room, it comes with the usual complement of mod cons: kettle, AC, flat-screen TV, safe. The smoke alarm has a very bright flash, but hey, at least there's a smoke alarm!
The bathroom is modern and clean, although the shower floor seems to slope the wrong way, so instead of draining it overflows into the bathroom, although not too badly. Not a major problem. Shampoo and shower gel come in refillable dispensers, which I approve of. I also approve of the underfloor heating in the bathroom!
At one point I realized that, although I could use the Internet, I wasn't receiving emails. I could receive emails in other wifi areas, so that seems to be a quirk of the hotel's wifi. Heads up.
Breakfast, in the small garden area, was surprisingly good - a comprehensive help-yourself buffet plus eggs to order.
There's even a glass floor revealing Byzantine ruins below the hotel.
Definitely a good choice for a snall independent hotel in central Istanbul.
