The hotel is located in one of the monastery cloisters and staying there was a great experience. The rooms are large and luxurious. There is surface parking outside the hotel entrance.

Location, breakfast and architecture. Comfortable room.
The ambience is too empty (some paintings on the walls of the corridors for example would make the space more comfortable). We had to walk quite a bit from the lift to our room, maybe there are not enough lifts or they are not properly indicated.

1 - Apesar do conforto, o aspecto austero conservado dos tempos de mosteiro causa alguma impressão.
2 - Mas do que realmente não gostei foi da falta de tratamento para reduzir a fenomenal acústica do espaço onde funciona o restaurante. À hora do jantar, quando lá estive, mesmo grupos pequenos dão a impressão de um estádio lotado em dia de FCP X Benfica. Acredito que a administração poderia fazer alguma coisa para minimizar esse efeito que é fruto, certamente, da arquitectura original com tectos abobadados que fazem o som reverberar imenso. À parte a boa comida da cozinha, o barulho, dada essa particularidade da sala, é mesmo desagradável.

Great location. Easy parking. Wonderful historic hotel with plenty of character. Large room and very roomy and spacious surroundings within the hotel all kept to the highest standards. We would definitely recommend/visit again if in the area.
Could have done with more coathangers in the wardrobe. There was a conference on at the time and breakfast was a bit busy and noisy. Really can't think of anything else we didn't like.

Beautiful building sympathetically made into hotel . Location amazing , beds comfortable.
We booked a pet room and paid more than a normal room to have this . However as we paid on leaving they asked for another 30 euros for our second tiny dog , which is fine but didn’t understand why the didn’t tell us at check-in it was more because of another dog ? Felt very cross about this as I had had a lot of chat with hotel beforehand also . Reception staff were very serious and not very friendly at all . The only place we had friendly service was the bar by our waiter , he was delightful .
Did feel that with pre dinner drinks is we should have been offered some sort of nuts or olives . So to summarise not sure I feel like we would go back because of the high cost of the dogs .

No entanto, os quartos têm um minimalismo pobre e de parco conforto. A casa de banho igualmente e os produtos disponiveis apresentam um formato de hotel de 4/3 estrelas - merecia ter mais!

Natürlich die tolle Präsenz der klösterlichen Architektur. Den Indoor Pool kann man sicher als einmalig bezeichnen.
Die Rezeption war sehr hilfreich und freundlich.
Nicht ganz so toll war die Sauberkeit im Bad. Hier ist Luft nach oben.
Im Restaurant wäre ein souveräner Kellner besser aufgehoben als ein junges, durchaus bemühtes Mädchen.
Der absolute Schwachpunkt beim Frühstück war der Kaffee aus den Automaten. Ich kann mich nicht erinnern jemals so eine "Flüssigkeit" als Kaffee bekommen zu haben.
Dieselben Automaten produzieren in anderen Hotels trinkbarere Ergebnisse.
