What an exceptional stay. Slightly wobbly start but recovered throughout the stay winding up with a brief upgrade to the Presidential Suite. Check in was slow. They were very busy. My Suite Night Upgrade delivered the Astor Suite which was superb. Dinner buffet was good if a bit pricey with excellent service. The bar had a nice vibe and really enjoyed a couple of drinks there. Breakfast was great (offered as Platinum member welcome option). Then to top the stay off there was an issue which meant they needed the room back early having been given a late check out until 4pm. They offered a move to the Presidential Suite and an extension of the late check out until 6pm. Now this represents outstanding service recovery. Overall I would say for luxury this is one of the best options in Jakarta.

My recent stay at The St. Regis Jakarta was nothing short of spectacular. Under the expert leadership of the Multi-Property GM, Oliver K., the hotel delivers the signature luxury and personalized service the brand is known for.
The culinary experience at Bel Étage was a particular highlight—the gelato was delicious, and the chocolate pastries at the buffet were fabulous. More importantly, the service was incredibly caring.
Special thanks to the manager Irkam, as well as Yovita, Maria, Ramnessa, Ramesh, and David for their attentive care.
I also want to recognize Yogi, my butler, for his faultless service, and Deva for a smooth check-in. Even for a brief stay, the team made me feel truly valued. This is undoubtedly one of the finest properties in the city.
My partner and I stayed at The St. Regis Jakarta in April 2026, and it was a joy from start to finish. Our room was beautifully appointed and impeccably maintained — spotless, comfortable, and with all the thoughtful touches you’d expect from a St. Regis property. The food was equally impressive; every meal we had on property, from breakfast to dinner, was excellent.
But what truly elevated our stay was the people.
A huge thank you to Joceline and Vanessa, both of whom were genuinely outstanding. They were attentive, warm, and unfailingly friendly throughout our entire stay, anticipating our needs and helping us with everything from recommendations around Jakarta to little personal touches that made us feel completely looked after. Their kindness was the highlight of the trip.
Our butler was equally wonderful — helpful, considerate, and quietly efficient. The signature St. Regis Butler Service really lives up to the brand promise here.
Beyond these standouts, every single staff member we encountered greeted us with a smile and a genuine willingness to help — from the front desk to housekeeping to the F&B team. My recent stay at The St. Regis Jakarta has not only restored our confidence in the property, it has firmly positioned itself as the most compelling address in the city.
I had the privilege of experiencing the Presidential Suite, and while the suite itself easily surpasses five-star expectations, it is the holistic experience that truly defines the stay.
Three elements, in particular, shaped my conviction:
(i) Thoughtful, exceptional hardware!
This visit completed my personal journey across every suite category at StR Jakarta, from Caroline Astor, Empire, and Metropolitan, to the Presidential Suite. What stands out is not just the aesthetic excellence, but the intentionality behind every design choice.
While the suites may be more modest in size compared to peers of similar calibre in Jakarta, they are remarkably well-conceived. Functionality is never compromised: no excessive walking distances, no awkward layouts, just intuitive, seamless living. The furniture strikes a rare balance between refined elegance and genuine comfort, elevating both form and function.
(ii) Impeccable attention to detail.
There is a quiet sophistication in the details. Fresh flowers, still a rarity in Jakarta, grace every room category. The signature sabrage ritual at the grand lobby adds a sense of occasion, while handwritten notes feel personal rather than perfunctory. The welcome amenities are not only generous, but thoughtfully curated and memorable. These touches, though subtle, leave a lasting impression.
(iii) Service that transcends expectations!
Much has been said about the service, and rightfully so. What distinguishes it, however, are two understated yet powerful qualities. First, the element of surprise and delight, the team’s anticipatory approach is both intuitive and deeply personalized, remembering preferences with remarkable precision. Second, an exceptional level of discretion, requests are handled seamlessly behind the scenes, with quiet coordination and no unnecessary fanfare. This combination is rare, particularly in a bustling city hotel, yet it is executed here with remarkable consistency, and continues to improve with each stay.
The St. Regis Jakarta has become, quite convincingly, the most assured and rewarding stay in Jakarta for us. It is a property we return to not just with confidence, but with genuine anticipation.
こちらには2泊滞在しました。今回で2回目の利用となりますが、全体を通して非常に快適な滞在となりました。特に嬉しかったのは、スタッフの方々が私の好みを覚えていてくださり、名前を呼んで挨拶してくれたことです。ただ、前回滞在した際に受けられた「バトラーが直接部屋まで案内してくれる」といった細やかなサービスが今回はなかった点や、プールバーが営業していたにもかかわらずスタッフが誰も来なかったため、泳ぎながらモクテルを楽しむことができなかった点は少し残念でした。とはいえ、全体としては本当に楽しい滞在でした。
I stayed here for two nights. This was my second visit, and overall, it proved to be a very comfortable stay. What pleased me most was that the staff remembered my preferences and greeted me by name. However, I was slightly disappointed that some of the thoughtful touches I experienced during my previous stay—such as a butler personally escorting me to my room—were absent this time around. It was also a shame that, despite the pool bar being open, no staff members came by, meaning I was unable to enjoy a mocktail while swimming. Nevertheless, all in all, it was a truly enjoyable stay.

The hotel was beautiful
There was a train line and a busy road outside the walls of the pool area. It was so loud that when the regular trains passed you could no hear the person next to you and the ground shook.
Stunning lobby and entrance. The butler service is really outstanding though. I would like to give a special shoutout to Fiktri, the butler supervisor, who really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was pleasant, and that we had a great experience. We were initially unhappy as the hotel was full and it took a long time to check in, despite us arriving in the late afternoon. When Fiktri found out about it, he put in so much effort to make our experience pleasant and comfortable. He was really genuine and authentic, excellent in all the details, and paid great attention at helping us with anything that we need. Very extraordinary butler! Thank you so much.
Cleanliness
There are very few playground facilities for children. The room smelled unpleasant when we entered. I booked two rooms, but the welcome cake and drinks were only available in one.
