We stayed here while spending the day at the nearby 2000 Trees festival. It was the ideal base and everything was perfect
Nothing it was all great
Good location. Easy to access with clear instructions received via email from the owners. Room was very nice, compact but had two chairs. Bathroom was lovely just no handset in the shower. Water level and temperature control worked well. Coffee and tea supplies with kettle.
Room was rather warm but a fan was provided which was noisy. Windows handles to shut have seen better days but worked ok. Changed to a double bedroom (room 4) as it was downstairs, unfortunately it was quite bouncy and rather soft not giving us a good nights sleep as I am a wriggler. This is the only negative on our stay. We didn't use breakfast facilities so unable to comment.
Rooms were very comfortable clean with everything needed for a short stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Couldn't find fault with anything of importance
Breakfast middling ( cheapest quality toast, but good eggs and bacon), but bit expensive when tea and optional gratuity added on. Room was noisy during evening (next to London road) but OK at night, slept well in a good sized room.
The staff were helpful and kind. The room met our basic expectations.
We did not appreciate the heavy perfume smell in the room. It was overwhelming and we had to leave the door and window open to air it out. Why are they doing this? Was it masking an unpleasant odor?

Jaren 70 hotel met twijfelaar als bed, een slecht werkende douche en geen airco terwijl het 34 graden was. We zouden 3 nachten blijven maar zijn na 1 nacht vertrokken naar een ander hotel.

It was perfectly located if you’re walking the Cotswold Way. If you are coming to stay in Cheltenham, it’s a little too far out of the city. There isn’t a lot around it so highly recommend for the walk otherwise I would stay inside the town.

This hotel was incredibly good value - it is a basic hotel so don't expect much in facilities or modern bathrooms etc, but for the price paid it is 10/10. Easy to park, super clean, the whole bathroom had fresh grouting and bath seals etc.
Check in and out is contactless - it is all very functional, but easy.
For the price nothing - the showers are quite dated but everything is in good working order.
