We enjoyed ourselves while in Petaluma and would definitely come back to the Hilton home to suites
Pros:

The modern streamlined room. The climate control was very responsive. The woman who checked us in was wonderful and helpful.

Cons:

The breakfast was not great. Same hard cooked eggs every day. While there was a toaster and bagels and bread, etc. to toast. There was no butter or cream cheese available.
The lamp at our desk in our room did not function at all.
I’m guessing I’m old-school, but I was wishing for a map of Petaluma so that I could see the downtown area and make my way around. There were no paper maps available.

Clean, excellent breakfast, rate is higher than expected for a 3-star hotel
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent. Lots to choose from - make your own breakfast sandwich, potato wedges, make your own waffle, cereal, yogurt, coffee, juices, fruits, etc.

Cons:

When I booked in March, the going rate for March was much lower than it was for May. I understand that the rate goes high for summer but 3x as much? That's gouging your customers.

Good place to use as a a base in this area.
Pros:

Convenient and right off the freeway for easy access to where we were headed each day. We were able to make basic meals in the room.

Cons:

Odd room layout - no ambience and it felt like we could host a fitness class in the space. Breakfast didn’t start til 7:00 on the weekend and that is too late if you have an early start to your day.

Good for business travelers esp. staying more than one day.
Pros:

Spacious rooms (we’ve stayed in two different local Home2s for total over 14 days). Kitchenette done well. TVs not blaring in lobby. Comfortable large lobby area. Friendly helpful lobby and breakfast staff. Did not use pool but clean and seemed private and large enough.
Huge parking lot. 2 minute walk across lot to great Japanese resto. One minute walk to Kohls, Dollar Tree, other dept stores.
HVAC in room quick responsive. Shelf, drawer and closet space suitable.

Cons:

Spa unreliable. Breakfast C-: eggs, cinnamon swirl French toast, sausage patties etc samo samo commercial grade plus repetition w minimal swap every other day. Oranges bananas ok.

Coffee in the lobby was always ready to go at all times
Laundry room & gym clean and tidy
The room was perfect for our stay

Cons:

Allowing men to loiter every night around the fire pit is absolutely horrible. The men were drinking alcohol and carrying on loud conversations until the fire pits were turned off. Every single time we walked past the men they were swearing. This is a terrible look for your establishment.

Could have been a great stay.

Clean and good breakfast

Cons:

Did not get any sleep that night, I had some really noisy people next to me. They partied until around 4 in the morning. Several people complained but staff did nothing to stop it.
