Great Vejle experience
Pros:

-great location, right next to the iconic Fjordenhus and The Wave. Close to grocery stores and nature, with excellent running and cycling trails nearby
-the hotel is very clean and comfortable
-exemplary staff – super helpful and incredibly friendly
-a decent Italian restaurant right next to the hotel (it’s not a hotel restaurant, but guests get a discount, so make sure to ask the staff about it)
-the views from the 11th floor and the roof terrace were breathtaking
-the gym was nice

Cons:

-the hotel lacks its own parking. Instead, you have to use a costly public car park with a confusing system, where people were receiving fines daily (the hotel warns guests about fines for unpaid parking, though)
-minimalist breakfast, so if you're hoping for a wide selection, you'd better eat in the city center
-the smell in our room right after check-in was questionable, but the staff's response was exemplary, and everything was fine afterwards

The worst hotel I've stayed in. Great location and modern look, but ruined by the staff.
Pros:

The breakfasts were tasty but very basic. There were few vegetables—only tomatoes, cucumbers, and bell peppers, with no lettuce. Also, there was no butter, only margarine.

Cons:

An audit should be conducted by the Marriott Group, and the staff should be trained to be more customer-oriented.
