No couch, hot water faulty one morning but fixed after a couple of hours.
The hotel is in a very central location, right in the heart of the city. Although the room is small, it is fully equipped with everything one would expect from a hotel and more including an iron, ironing board, and dishwasher. The staff are particularly helpful; the reception team was great, and thanks to them, I was able to check into my room at 9 AM upon arrival because my flight was very early. If I were to visit Wellington again, I would definitely choose this place!!

Very central and has parking
Difficult to find parking initially to enable check-in. Once we had checked in, the Room was freezing when we arrived. We never had a key which worked, staff had to let us into our room each time. Bathroom sink was also leaking. The design of the room meant we had to squeeze past a pillar to walk into the living area of the room. We could see the room was built for people with disabilities, but they would struggle to move around the room with the pillar in the centre of the room. We booked earlier in the afternoon and understood it was their last room available for the night when we arrived.

The location is brilliant! 👏 Everything is within walking distance. We stayed for two nights and were able to explore the streets around Wellington CBD with ease. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Parking is conveniently located right in front of the hotel, which made everything even easier.
The staff were all very kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Olive, who looked after us so well and made us feel truly welcome.

Beware steep steps for entrance.
Parking was in an adjacent car park with strict height restrictions and so that could have been an issue if I was travelling with my gear on the top of my car or my campervan. Better details on the listing on booking.com would be helpful. Also the "gym" was in an adjacent facility, and the open hours were not that great for weekends...... so could not actually use them.
The street noise was really loud and the sound insulation was poor. Not much can be done about street noise. Ear plugs are recommended.
Close to everything, clean, comfortable. Access to laundry facilities is very appreciated.
