Enjoyed our stay cheap comfy easy check in they have a sports bar Bristow and pokies well located

Cons:

So called deluxe room was little more than a closet- bed very tight squeezed against walls. View of roof and rattling AC units.
Bar staff run accomodation and are too busy serving schooners and TAB machine to care- it's all that's available so very briskly told "take it or leave it" (no refund).
They said it was 20M² but in reality was 10-12M² + small bathroom.
PS: Super.com very suspect middleman carrying zero responsibility or service.
Be clear what you're going to get- I recommend calling ahead before booking because their version of deluxe is far from the dictionary version.
Bordering on illegal "bait and switch" behaviour but life's too short.

Pros:

Regularly stay in Penshurst due to location - close to M5 and easy access to Sydney by train.

Cons:

1 night light wasn't working

If wasn’t the mattress I would comeback, but I had a really bad night to sleep on that.

Overall the experince was not that good because of matress.
Pros:

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights. The staff were friendly, and was close to the public transport.

Cons:

The mattress was excessively soft, which made it uncomfortable as we felt like we were sinking into it. We had difficulty with the matress and I had body pain for some time even after we returned. The whole day we were out and when it was time to rest we couldnot rest properly because of matress.

Comfortable, clean, cost-effective Penshurst Hotel
Pros:

It was excellent value for what you get. A comfortable room. Access to food and travel. Helpful, friendly staff.

Cons:

The window doesn't open. That's a very minor thing, and probably contributes to noise reduction, which is a good thing. Teensy bit of mold in the grout, but hard to avoid in a dark, enclosed ensuite (having an ensuite at that price was a wonderful find in the first place).

Comfortable and what we needed - it's not 5-star but fir for purpose.
Pros:

Value for money.
Close proximity to where we wanted to stay.

Cons:

Hard to get the room serviced and cleaned, we had to ask numerous times each day and got frustrated with this.
Room was very small but value for money (for what we paid for).
Carpark didn't open until 9:30am so we could not park our car in there over night as needed to use it early in the morning.
Because staff didn't start until mid morning it was difficult to speak to anyone if we had issues and concerns i.e. our room needed to be cleaned.
