Ljubljana Capsule Hostel

We stayed two nights out of three at the capsule hotel in Ljubljana. The hole place had bedbugs. We got a capsule, but after one night we noticed all of these insects and blod on the bed sheets, there was no doubt that it was bedbugs, and many of them. We wrote to the owner a got a new capsule, but is was also infected by bedbugs and all of the other guest had them to. The staff didn’t take it seriously

🚨INFESTED WITH BEDBUGS🚨

Stayed last night and it was horrific. Worst accomodation I have ever stayed in by a mile. Firstly, the bed was riddled with bedbugs. Woke up with loads of bites trailing up my leg. It appears this issue is widely reported in the reviews (unfortunately didn't read Google reviews before booking, the reviews on booking.com are very positive somehow however I have seen multiple people here on Google saying they were promised partial refunds for positive reviews, refunds that were never given in the end) Clearly the owner is knowledgeable about this, but chooses to do nothing. Having bedbugs is one thing, but letting them spread and choosing to ignore it is utterly deplorable. Multiple people I spoke to on the morning said they experienced bites up their leg so it's clearly a widespread issue.

Secondly, there is almost no ventilation in the pods. It was boiling hot. One hour in the pod and you are covered in sweat. Again, this was a common issue as in the night almost everyone had to sleep with the pod door open as to not overheat, which kind of defeats the point of a pod. Woke up on the morning with a horrific headache due to dehydration from sweating buckets in the night. I've slept in hotel rooms in India with no windows and experienced about half the heat.

Lastly, I tried to contact the owner multiple times and received no response. I saw on WhatsApp that the messages had been delivered, so clearly he decided just not to respond. Yet another example of the owners lack of care, treating the place as a cash cow with zero regards to the customers who stay there.

Overall, this is the worst accomodation I have ever stayed in and it's not even close. I find the attitude of the owner disgusting, allowing guests to stay in bed bug ridden coffins the temperature of the sun whilst not even thinking you're worth a response. With no exaggeration at all, I would rather sleep on the street then stay in there again.

BED BUGS! Håll er borta från detta ställe. Vi upptäckte 3 st vägglöss och avföring från dessa vid den första natten av fem. Vi satt vaken hela den natten och blev lovad ett annat rum till dagen efter. (Ville helst inte bo kvar alls men vi hade bokat fem nätter och ägaren vägrade att häva bokningen). Vi fick ingen ersättning för denna natt då var var utan rum. Ser att fler rapporterat att dom haft bed bugs under samma tid som vi var där. Så det verkar vara rätt utspritt och ägaren verkar inte bry sig alls. I den nya rummet klarade vi oss från kusar.

The locker in the room was too small for the luggage of two people.

No reply when we asked questions online.

Only one side of the capsule allowed for phone charging.

I had bed bugs attack me. For sure the lowest point in an otherwise great trip

missing some kind of cooking area or kettle to boil water, controlled air vents inside capsules,

Bed bugs. We saw several bed bugs in our bed. Obviously wanted to leave the room immediately. Sent a message to staff but no one has replyed, at least not yet, this happened yesterday.

Et sted i bookingsforløbet stod der morgenmad fra 8-10. Blev ikke klar over om det fandtes og hvor.
