Location is fantastic. Historic traditional building. The views from the terrace are great. Quiet yet central. 15 minutes walk max to the ferry terminal. The room has everything you need. Literally. Very stylish. Loved the water pressure in the shower. AC was efficient during the heat wave but yet very quiet. Staff are extremely attentive. They were keen to offer us useful advice to explore Malta. Breakfast was tasty and homemade. Truly enjoyed our stay and felt quite lucky that we managed to secure a room during busy summer. Book it! You won’t regret it! The “commute” to Valetta is actually a quick and a very pleasant trip. 100% would stay again if we are back in Malta.

A super friendly atmosphere. Friendly kind staff. We loved the unplanned, spontaneous morning chats over breakfast with the owners, Eric and Michael.
Everything was clean and modern, yet respectful of the authenticity of the location within the ancient framework of a 500-year-old building. We’d love to come back here someday. The restaurant is just a few dozen meters away, along the quiet harbor with a view of Fort St. Angelo, where Malta’s history was made. The ferry to the center of Valletta is a 10-12 minute walk, followed by a 10-minute boat ride.

Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Michael und Eric für die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die tollen Tipps. Wir haben uns ab der ersten Sekunde wie zu Hause gefühlt. Absolute Empfehlung, wir kommen garantiert wieder!

It is rarely that comfort, style, practicality and friendliness come together into such an attractive package, but Eric, Michael, Nateesh and ​the lovely breakfast room ladies have created exactly this, presenting an oasis in the quieter part of Valetta . We loved every minute there, from the rooftop breakfasts to the giant, comfortable beds, to the minute attention to detail, such as providing a shoehorn in the wardrobe, daily water to the room, the lift, the brightness of the interior of the staircase and building due to intelligent use of architecture, it was all top class. We hear they are expanding with extra rooms and a rooftop pool, also! In many trips abroad and at home, I have no hesitation in assigning a 5/5 stars to Senglia Suites, and hope to revisit when the work is done. Great work, all, and thanks!

Our stay at Senglea Suites was absolutely wonderful. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. The room, as well as the entire property, was spotlessly clean, beautifully designed, and maintained to a very high standard.
The location was another big advantage. It is peaceful and quiet, yet within walking distance of several excellent restaurants, making it the perfect place to relax while still having everything you need nearby.
The owners and all the staff were exceptionally kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring, without ever being intrusive or overbearing. They made us feel at home and were always happy to help.
The breakfast was another highlight of our stay. Every morning we enjoyed a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast made with high-quality ingredients, making each day start perfectly.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Senglea Suites to anyone visiting Malta. We will definitely be back!

I can talk about one hundred good things about our 5-day in Senglea Suites. It was beyond our expectation and we were really impressed by the modern facilities in the five-hundreds-years building, and staff who always cared for us. Thank you Eric, Michael and Natishe, and I wish all of you all the best.

The hotel and the room were exquisitely decorated. Everyone at the hotel, especially Eric, was incredibly helpful. The city view from our room and the hotel's terrace were breathtaking. If we ever visit Malta again, we would definitely want to stay here.

The room was stunning, the terrace was amazing, the hosts were super attentive. It was just perfect. They really, really do everything they can to make your stay as great as it can be. They are the blueprint for hosting.

Un hotel pequeño con solo 6 habitaciones, lo que asegura la tranquilidad, y mucho encanto. Los dueños amabilísimos y pendientes desde el momento de hacer la reserva, cuidando mucho los detalles y precupándose por hacer la estancia lo más confortable posible. Desayuno estupendo. El hotel está en un barrio histórico muy tranquilo, con unas vistas preciosas y zonas bonitas para pasear.

Everything was perfect! The staff made us feel welcome throughout the stay. Breakfast was great, rooms were quiet, beds were comfortable and location was great.

Wat een pareltje, deze kleinschalige accommodatie! Net buiten de drukte, maar op loopafstand van de sfeervolle haven waar vandaan je met de ferry of een van de vele kleurrijke watertaxi's snel in Valletta bent. Maar vergeet ook zeker niet om The Three Cities te bezoeken. Voordat je aan je activiteiten begint, word je verwend met een heerlijk ontbijt met keuze uit div. soorten brood/broodjes, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, je eitje naar wens vers bereid etc. De medewerkers en gastheren doen er alles aan om het je naar de zin te maken. En dan het pand. Een mooi, authentiek gebouw dat zeer sfeervol is gedecoreerd en ingericht. Wij hebben ons echt een paar dagen 'royals' gevoeld. Lieve mensen, bedankt!!

A truly delightful Senglea Suites Hotel. We stayed for four nights, and I had originally hoped to book this hotel for our entire stay in Malta, but unfortunately it was fully booked. Looking back, our vacation—and especially our stay in Senglea Suites—left a lasting impression. It was our first visit to Malta, and we absolutely loved it, thanks in no small part to the outstanding hospitality of the entire hotel team.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. Eric greeted us warmly at check-in, and we really appreciated being able to check early.

Breakfast each morning was a highlight. Delicious omelettes and aromatic coffee—the perfect way to start the day. There was also the opportunity to have breakfast on the beautiful terrace. Our friendly conversations with the owners were unforgettable. They always took the time to ask how we were doing and whether we needed anything, and every request was taken care of quickly and with genuine care. The level of service was exceptional.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed. The historic building has been restored with great taste, and the modern additions blend seamlessly with the original architecture, creating an authentic and elegant atmosphere.

The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking views over the Three Cities Bay. Watching the sunset there with a glass of wine was one of the highlights of our stay.

We stayed in one of the historic rooms, and we loved it. It was spacious, with high ceilings and traditional Maltese character, while also offering every modern comfort. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was large and well appointed.

Thank you to Eric, Michael, Natishe, Frances and Louwrens for making our stay so memorable. You all contributed to our unforgettable first visit to Malta. We would happily stay at your hotel again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay.
