Honestly, I was really disappointed with the way I was treated yesterday. My wife and I booked a day stay at the hotel just to relax, spend some time together, and take a break from work and our daily routine.

From the moment we arrived, our experience was ruined by the receptionist, Ayman.

Since the reservation was under my wife’s name, he seemed to deal only with her and completely ignore me. When it was time to sign, I raised my hand to take the document, but he ignored me and handed it to my wife instead. The same thing happened when he was giving us the room key. I was standing right there, trying to interact with him, but he kept ignoring me.

Honestly, I don’t understand this kind of treatment. I understand that the reservation was under my wife’s name, but that doesn’t mean I should be treated as if I don’t exist. It’s not about who made the booking; it’s about basic respect and how you treat people.

We chose a five-star hotel because we expected a certain level of hospitality and professionalism. Instead, I felt uncomfortable and disrespected from the very first minute. We came to enjoy a peaceful day together, and starting our stay this way was the last thing we expected.

I’m not writing this to make a big deal out of nothing, but because I genuinely believe this is not how guests should be treated, especially at a five-star hotel. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and looks into what happened.

A good hotel experience starts at reception, and unfortunately, ours started on a very bad note.
