A Truly Outstanding Stay, Exceptional Service from an Incredible Team!
From the moment I arrived at the Mondrian Mexico City Condesa until the moment I checked out, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued.
This is far more than just a beautiful hotel, it is an experience created by an exceptional team of people who clearly care about every guest.
A special thank you to Jany, Albania, and Mike, who went above and beyond throughout my stay.
Their professionalism, warmth, kindness, and genuine desire to help made all the difference.
They are a true credit to the Mondrian brand!!
The hotel itself is stunning.
The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and impeccably maintained.
The location in Condesa is perfect, with fantastic restaurants, cafés, and parks all within walking distance.
Every detail, from the atmosphere to the service, exceeded my expectations.
I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, and it’s the people who make the biggest difference.
The team at the Mondrian has mastered the art of hospitality, making every guest feel like family.
If you’re looking for an amazing hotel in Mexico City, I cannot recommend the Mondrian highly enough.
Thank you to Jany, Albania, Mike, and the entire team for making my stay so memorable. I look forward to returning very soon.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars without hesitation!
I am going to write an honest opinion related to my recent trip to this hotel and why in my opinion I believe it deserves 5 stars. Let's start with the basics, the hotel is neat, clean, organized, presentable, friendly, easy check in, all the things you would expect. What sets this place apart is the service, the service is beyond exceptional. Especially, I'd like to point out the concierge, they go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home, but that you also have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. Additionally, the restaurant in the hotel called La Terraza is exceptional in terms of service and food. I'd like to personally recommend and mention Angela Gomez, her magnificent and dedicated attention to detail made my stay pleasant, stress free, and enjoyable. Other exceptional individuals include Daniel A., Marco L., and Alison A. I highly recommend this place as you will find that your stay is just as unique as mine!
Excellent hotel and service. In the art district. Walking distance to everything. Super comfortable in every way
I had an outstanding stay during my visit to Mexico City for the FIFA World Cup week ⚽️, and a huge part of that experience was thanks to Albania.
From the moment I arrived, Albania went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. She was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely cared about ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect. Her recommendations like Rosetta and Blanco colima restaurants 10/10.
Exceptional customer service is hard to find, and Albania truly sets the standard.
Thank you!!!🙏🏼 , Albania for making my World Cup trip even more special. I look forward to coming back!
The staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay. The location was also close to many of the things we wanted to see and do.
Great staff Amauri, Ángel y Daniel will go above and beyond to meek your stay great, definitely will come back Aswome stay!!!
My stay at Mondrian Mexico City Condesa was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcomed with a handwritten note and a beautiful dessert inspired by the colors of the Colombian flag. As a Colombian visitor, that thoughtful gesture meant a lot and immediately made me feel at home.
The room was gorgeous, modern, and full of artistic character. Having a private terrace made the experience even more special, offering a perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and every detail of the room was carefully designed to create a unique atmosphere.
The food was excellent throughout my stay, and I would especially like to recognize Alison, whose kindness and professionalism stood out. She was always warm, attentive, and eager to help, making us feel valued as guests.
What impressed me most about Mondrian was its ability to combine sophisticated design with genuine hospitality. The personalized touches, delicious cuisine, comfortable accommodations, and outstanding staff created an experience that I will remember for a long time.
I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mexico City.
Great food, great ambience, and amazing service! We were helped by Amaury and he was incredible!
Jamie and Gustavo made this stay much more enjoyable. Anything we needed, they were both on top of it. Thank you to both of you!
Very attentive staff. Nice location. Very clean and very spacious room. The breakfast included was perfect for me - the chilaquiles en salsa verde! Amoury was my waiter for breakfast both days. Very nice and friendly!
We had a few dozen guests stay at Mondrian for our daughter's wedding and were very pleased. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to all. The courtyard coffee shop and bar/restaurant was great for gathering, and the neighborhood is lovely and convenient. There are more cafes and restaurants than you could ever enjoy, plus parks and shops within short walks.
What a lovely hotel! We loved our 8 night stay at Mondrian Mexico City. The hotel is in a great, walkable neighborhood. Rooms are nicely appointed and updated. Staff are all so friendly and helpful, and the coffee shop and hotel restaurant are great.
The real standout of our stay was the concierge, Gustavo. He went above and beyond both before and during our trip to make sure we had the best time possible. From arranging airport transfers, to scoring us a reservation at Contramar, from asking about our adventures every time we saw him, to going all out to help us get tickets to a Diablos Rojos game, Gustavo is a true gem. He made this trip truly unforgettable.
We will absolutely be back to CDMX and will surely chose Mondrian as our home base.
Location good, clean rooms and staff although rushed at times were lovely. Easy to organise Ubers as they can pull in and drop off easily.
The breakfast is not a 5* offering, no fresh juices, terrible coffee etc..
While the hotel’s website suggested an experience suitable for international travelers, that was not reflected during my stay. Communication was limited, as staff—including the concierge—only spoke one language, which made it difficult to get assistance. Unfortunately, the concierge was also unable to provide helpful information regarding local tour bus options.
In addition, the front desk staff was consistently rude across multiple interactions and at different locations within the hotel, which made routine requests uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
From a facilities standpoint, the room did not meet expectations. The towels were worn, the shower water was consistently cold, and the toilet paper holder was broken. In-room amenities were minimal, and access to the pool—implied on the hotel’s website—was not available.
We did, however, receive exceptional service in the coffee shop, the bar, and from the valet staff. Their professionalism and friendliness stood out and were greatly appreciated.
Overall, the stay fell short of what was advertised, particularly for guests who may be traveling internationally or expecting basic comfort and service standards.
Hotel is nice, rooms are nice and big, but treatment of loyal member is poor compared to other hotels
I will preface that my feedback will include details that are tied to AmEx, since this property is a part of their Hotel Collection. There are many positives to this hotel, if you want to stay in a prime location and want to support the local economy. The Mondrian Mexico City Condesa is situated in a neighborhood with easy access to everything you may need on a trip. With AmEx, there are benefits for certain members such as: complimentary breakfast for two, experience credit, and early check-in/late check-out. I will note that the complimentary breakfast only includes their buffet. Since I have some dietary restrictions, it was a challenge to get full from the available selections. I wish there were more options for people who don’t like eggs or who are lactose intolerant; however, there is fresh fruit and a chia seed pudding that can satisfy you. Additionally, the quality of the room isn’t at a standard that I’ve experienced from other 5-star hotels. There aren’t enough vents in the bathroom and drainage in the shower could use some reengineering. The robes are tiny, if you wear a size medium or larger, and their mini fridges don’t get cold enough to store food and drinks properly. On the contrary, the staff more than make up for what the building itself lacks. From the front to the concierge, there’s a willingness to make your experience at the hotel as pleasurable as possible. The concierge would help you locate a doctor, if you need medical assistance. Any concerns that I brought to the staff’s attention was addressed with swiftness and care. When you dine at the La Terraza, the team will know you by name and care for you. A special shout out to Angela for her exceptional care and attention to every guest that comes her way. She treated me with kindness and generosity, which has been the case for all of the La Terraza staff. Overall, it’s a good hotel to stay if it’s your first time in CDMX and try to support the local economy where you can.
Excellent location in Condesa, with lots of restaurants, cafes and bars in easy walking distance, but still quiet area and very green. Hotel is very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Concierge services really helped organize trips and provide advice, especially Gustavo was very responsive.
Beautiful hotel and the staff is incredibly accommodating. The location is perfect and walkable or a very short ride to anything you could you could want or need.
I removed a star because I stayed with friends and there is absolutely no privacy in the room. The bathroom door and shower doors are see through just colored glass. To top it off our room had a large mirror next to the tv but the mirror just reflected the bathroom and shower doors so you couldn’t watch tv while someone was using the restroom or shower. It would probably be fine for a couple but it was mildly uncomfortable for us.
Also restaurant inside does not have a ton of vegetarian options.
