Great location, good breakfast and Comfortable bed

The hotel is extremely close to the station and an easy 10 minute walk into the old town. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Great location, very comfortable
Pros:

Excellent location right near the station. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Just a walk away from the best bits of Takayama. The private onsen was a highlight so highly recommend doing that. The room was lovely, clean, and comfortable. A great hotel.

Wonderful base to explore Takayama and the surrounding area
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and well appointed. It is also located within a few blocks of the train station. The private onsen experience is really nice. The breakfast is wonderful.

Cons:

It is located a little bit away from the historic district. Ultimately, you need to decide whether you want to be closer to the train station or the older part of Takayama. They also closed their restaurant on Saturday night which seems strange, but maybe it was just a single occurrence.

Lovely and wonderful stay, we recommend to people to stay here.
Pros:

Helpful staff, location, very compact and beautiful hotel from outside to the room. I love the design of hotel

Cons:

The pillows are very soft I could not sleep the first night. I suggest you review these pillows or give one soft and one firm pillow. Second night I had to request a bead-pillow which help me sleep well.
