It was my first time to stay at a Mercure Hotel.
Pros:

Great breakfast with many choices. A very convenient location by the station. The hotel interior, rooms, restaurant and bath were all stylish and done in good taste. It was my first time to stay in a Mercure Hotel and I won’t hesitate to stay in another Mercure Hotel. In fact, I might seek them out. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Cons:

I wish a plan that included dinner was an option on the booking website.

Pros:

1) Minutes from Takayama Station and Nohi Bus Terminal
2) Choices of restaurants nearby, can get a meal within minutes walk even in late afternoon.
3) Have coin laundry in 350m walk.
4) Good breakfast. Good variety.

Cons:

1) Guidance map to laundry is somewhat misleading. Better search "coin laundry" and follow the route on phone
2) Open view from window, yet slightly fall behind my expectation
3) Duvet is somewhat too warm for June. Perhaps I should set the room-temperature lower.
