A wonderful stay with excellent food, friendly service, and comfortable accommodation.
Pros:

Our party of 14 had a wonderful meal at the pub, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The young lady who served us was friendly, attentive, and always had a smile on her face, which made our evening even more enjoyable. Our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it.

Pros:

The staff of the Bull Inn were absolutely marvellous. Lola, who welcomed me after my long hike from Rye, was very friendly. She warned me that my night might be interrupted by noise from downstairs, as a lot of people would be watching the game. The room was comfortable, with a generous supply of water, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. My friend and 12 fellow ramblers had dinner there, and Lola was very gracious and amazing all night. In the morning, a few of the ramblers who had booked for breakfast were initially disappointed that the breakfast couldn’t be provided. Steve had, however, made the difference by serving tea, coffee and toast so that we could start our hike with a good enough breakfast.

Cons:

Just a minor complaint about the fan.

Great little place in centre of town
Pros:

Warm welcome and staff couldn’t do enough even though super busy with the England game on TV and a packed pub! Food excellent and rooms had everything I needed and more. Comfy bed and big bathroom. Room window was open and fan left in room so nice and cool even in the heat

Heerlijk bed en ruime kamer. Vriendelijk personeel. Aan de centrale en doorgaande weg van dit mooie stadje.

Cons:

Very well regarded rooms in a lovely old inn
Pros:

I booked rooms for two twenty-something cousins they loved them and thoroughly enjoyed their stay, they were particularly impressed with the decor of each room and felt they matched their different personalities exactly.

Pros:

Location was great. The building had a lot of history.

Cons:

No parking. Would have been nice to be offered something towards the cost of the public car park.

We were disappointed in the evening meal. The fish (of the fish and chips) was overcooked.
