Perfect stay in the heart of Battle.
Pros:

Great location in Battle High Street. The Bull Inn is a lively pub with a great crowd. If pubs are not your thing, don't worry - the soundproofing is excellent and I couldn't hear any noise in my room aside from a very subdued murmur.
Breakfast was really good with unlimited filter coffee.
The bathroom is ensuite with the only very minor issue that the shower cubicle was a little small for me.
The room was spotlessly clean with a good TV and viewing selection.
I will definitely stay here again.

Nice pub and good rooms
Pros:

Room was comfortable, staff were great and location is good.

Cons:

Little bit of noise in the room - from above and below, but we go to bed early and are light sleepers. Was quiet during the night.

Great detour - well worth it
Pros:

Great location and the staff were so kind and friendly. Answered any questions and i genuinely felt looked after. I was supposed to stay in Redbridge but next time I'll take the train back to Battle!

Cons:

Only that the description on booking.com said there was a bath but there wasn't. Not a big deal though.

Sehr freundliches Personal und eine angenehme Atmosphäre erwarteten uns. Das Zimmer war riesig, sauber und gemütlich. Die Lage ist top! Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Help yourself to extra tea, coffee and toiletries just outside room

Comfy but sadly noisy stay
Pros:

Really good size room with comfy bed and tea facilities. super friendly staff

Cons:

Unfortunately our room (room 2) was directly above the pub and so the noise was far too loud until it closed. Wish I had known so I could have requested a different room. Food was pretty average.
