Super clean, updated and spacious room with cool glassed-in bathroom. Huge shower, which felt great after a long day of walking. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location.

Location location location! Couldn’t be a better location right next to the cathedral plaza! Our room was also really comfortable with good AC and we slept well at the end of the Camino.
Expensive for what you get. Breakfast for us was an extra fee and a little pricey for what you get - 12 euros for breakfast. Our shower didn’t drain well so had to deal with that and get all new towels after cleaning up the water coming into the bathroom, again something I’d rather not deal with at our most expensive hotel during the 8 day Camino trip.

Loved everything about this hotel. The location was perfect, the staff was helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean.

The receptionist Sandra seemed displeased that we were even there and was very surly when we checked in. By the 2nd day she was much more welcoming and helpful, especially setting up a good Taxi transport for us that came almost directly to our door. The taxi tried to take us to the Airport instead of the Train Station, so be sure you don’t just rely on the receptionist. The location is exceptional, but be aware that if you reserve an economy room, it is not reflected in any of the pictures shown on the website. The air conditioner did NOT cool the room well. We did NOT complain about during our stay, so we don’t know whether they would have fixed it while we were here. The non-economy rooms are much much more expensive rooms, so you do get what you pay for and we were happy paying for the location, if not the more opulent rooms. Our room is small, but clean, and very quiet.
The other receptionist, Yagmary was very pleasant and helpful on the second day of our day. She had very good recommendations for restaurants, pastry, and coffee shops. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so have no advice about eating there.
The initial greetings and responses to our inquiries by some of the staff could have been more friendly.

Directly at Praza Obradoiro, next to the Cathedral with views of the Square. it also means that there are a lot of people and some noise at night of the happy pilgrims who celebrate the success .
nonetheless the hotel is a perfect choice for Santiago. we were treated to an upgrade and got the room with the panoramic view of the square. absolutely fantastic.
the staff are super kind (especially Mari at the front desk) and we wish we could have stayed more than just the one night we had booked.
but we would definitely go back there if we get the chance.
