Motel Boutique by Wolf Inn

Very dirty. Unhealthy to stay there. Beds were brown. Pool closed. Room smelled. No one there for check in.

Okay to start off, if this seems extreme to some I do have some standards for how clean any place that is in the hospitality business should be. Firstly upon arrival at the motel it looks like just that, a decently cheap motel for a one night place to sleep (our stay was supposed to be 5 nights so a bit more expensive) the front office was clean if not a bit dated, but still pleasant, the front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. We got room 158 in the second building (not attached to the office) the second room from the end, the door was a secure old style key lock with the inside bolt as well. The room itself was out dated, and smelled like smoke (it was a smoking allowed room, was not told on the website you had to book a specifically non smoking room) with obvious crumbs and dust on the floor and tables. The room had one small flat screen tv (not bad), the two beds had stains on the sheets and mattresses themselves and the top duvet had cigarette holes in them. Under the bed we found an old sock, and a McDonald's cheeseburger wrapper. In the small provided fridge there was old food residue (not sure what from possibly mashed potatoes) the bathroom was small, as expected but with stuff lining the corners and the tub decently clean if we're going by the room standards. Upon bringing this up to the front desk, the very kind woman behind the counter made it apparent this has been a constant problem with motel goers, she informed us that there is only one house keeper on the property (there were four but three quit, I can see why) and said house keeper is known to slack.

The room was not clean. The housekeeper clearly didn't clean anything. There were still wet towels in my room from the previous people that stayed there, soap in the shower. Floors were dirty. The rooms can definitely use bleach. There was mold in the bathroom all over, hair still in sink from previous person. The bed spread was gross and the pillows were flat, sheets did not fit the bed and were not clean. I had to buy sheets and use my own stuff on the bed. The receptacles were terrible, they're loose and a fire hazard. No photos because it was terrible.

The room smelled like straight up wet dog.
I was in the very back.
My bed looked slept in from the beginning. Later that night I found black hair under my pillow and all over the towels that I didn't touch at all
There was no trash can in my room.
I had to buy an air freshener.
I felt really gross after I left

Not enough towels for 2 people. There's only 3 towels. 2 in the bathroom and only 1 by the hot tub. Could atleast have a second one by the hot tub. Also I don't think blankets are swapped out in between guest. I stayed 2x now and the second time the blanket had what looked like was food pieces all over it. I know this is reasonably priced but please atleast change the bedding between guest. And add 1 more towel to the hottub rooms

The room is absolutely disgusting!! I felt like if I stayed there I would have gotten bed bugs or even worse!! Not really sure how they are even open! I couldn't even stay in that room for 5 minutes !! that's how bad it is!! The pictures were better than it was in person!! It was so gross didn't even take pictures!! I didn't even want to touch anything! Very Appalled!!
