Having travelled around Thailand for 4 weeks, sadly the service in this hotel was the worst - and I’ve stayed in 7 different hotels.
This was meant to be my final 2 nights prior to flying. I wanted a relaxed stay, no stress after all the moving around and a chilled 2 nights.
On check in, they were more concerned about telling you the rules then welcoming you. They demanded a 1000THB deposit in cash. When I tried explaining to them the only cash I had left was for gifts as we only had 2 nights/1 full day here, I needed that money. I offered to give my passport/driving licence or credit card as a deposit to enable me to spend that money but they refused. Zero help. Zero alternatives. Receptionist rude, unhelpful.
They then only gave us 1 room key card. There were 2 of us staying. They refused a second card. Saying we should return together. Or if we return separately then they will go to the room to let the person who doesn’t have the card on them. Not helpful. I’ve never heard of a hotel doing this? No sense.
Then the room. They don’t tell you that the hotel faces a boxing arena. And my god it is loud! I fully appreciate this is patong. I’ve stayed here 4 times before. I know it’s a loud area, but you ritually privy to this before.
The room itself was very basic. The shower head was so dirty, water was spraying everywhere. I needed to clean this myself to get the jets to actually aim. Again in the room a long list of rules.
I would not stay here again. It’s unwelcoming and not practical nor professionally run in my opinion
