The view of the Parthenon on the Acropolis from the bar and restaurant is stunning any time of day, from breakfast to sunset drinks and into the evening. I chose this hotel because the hotel has a pool and I knew Athens would be hot. The pool is quite shallow but that didn't bother me as I found it great to be able to have a swim and luxuriate after hours of sightseeing and, bonus, you overlook the Parthenon when in the pool. Sun beds around the pool are popular and I really thought the system of booking sun bed timeslots was inspired and very fair. Meant guests didn't hog the sun beds all day as can happen at many other hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location suited me. I walked everywhere. It is an easy 600m walk to Syntagma Square, doable with luggage, and 10 mins from Monastriaki Square, 20 mins to Acropolis.
My bedroom was a bit dark, but spacious and well appointed
The location to all of the tourist attractions. Also the amazing breakfast with a view. The hotel staff couldn’t be nicer at all times.
The only con was the room. Wish there was a privacy door on bathroom and not glass open shower. The counter space in bath could be larger and perhaps more hooks in bathroom. A bureau would be helpful to store clothes. The room was very nice having said that and bed and linens were very comfortable. Maids did a great job cleaning as well.
Wonderful hotel,great location, amazing staff, helpful and accommodating. The room was larvge,clean and modern. The rooftop pool and dining was excellent with the beautiful view of the Acropolis.
Esthetically the room was beautiful but it lacked standard hotel places to put your suitcase and spread out your belongings. In bathroom the sink took almost the entire space, so little room for one's toiletries.
