Great location but I thought the overall price was a little high taking all things into account.
Pros:

Location, room ok, breakfast good, most of the staff were great.

Cons:

Spa was not what I expected from viewing the photos on Booking.com. No shaving mirror. TV not in sitting room. R

Convenient location, nice to have use of a pool
Pros:

The spa facilities were great, not busy at all so very easy to book a time slot daily. The micro kitchen is useful.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Room was not as impressive as the online images. Much smaller than I had expected.
Because there was no bar, not much of an atmosphere in the hotel.
When I opened the dishwasher I could not shut it. The door pass did not work, however a key is available.

Quirky hotel in the middle of the touristy center
Pros:

If you want to stay in the middle of the tourist center in a quirky hotel with super friendly staff and a reception that is 24/7 plus food breakfast buffet and gym and pool, then this is your place. Hotels are pretty expensive due to this being such a popular tourist destination but I was happy in the Queen's Gambit room!

Cons:

Decent sized rooms but both the bathroom and main room could have done with a bit more surfaces/tables/regals.

Très joli hôtel idéalement placé à 5mn du centre historique. Calme et chaleureux. Parfait!

Très beau bâtiment et intérieur très original, mêlant ancien et moderne très harmonieusement. Chambre immense, jolie, propre et confortable. Piscine/hammam super!

Exceptionnel, calme, relaxante, personnel exceptionnel

Le personnel est tout simplement exceptionnel, les équipements aussi la chambre également . La piscine est chauffée dur un moment très agréable. Je le recommande à 100 %.

Cons:

Ce que je déplore, c’est la vétusté, dans la salle de bain on peut apercevoir des joints qui n’ont pas été fait depuis plusieurs années, dans la cuisine une lampe qui ne fonctionne plus, dans la piscine de petits détails, le tout fait penser que les Proprietaire ne l’entretiennent pas. C’est dommage

I would without doubt return to this lovely hotel on my next visit to Florence.
Pros:

From the very start this hotel was a joy to be statying at. The staff were all brilliant. They were cheerful and helpful. All friendly. The entrance is clear and authentic. The reception office cool air conditioning with warm friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble for them to help with. The room was very clean and comfortable. The lift was quick, stairs were good exercise as an alternative! It was a completely unfussy hotel an excellent central base to explore and enjoy Florence. Local bars and resturants all good quality. We particulary loved the pool and sauna (book a slot in advance) it was so relaxing after a day sight seeing to have some down time in this lovely space. Our room had a very well resourced kitchenette which was more of a bonus than we expected when we booked. The breakfasts were plentiful, delicious and well presented. The staff serving the breakfast were efficient and helpful. The hotel was super quiet at night. The airconditioning was excellent, We had the ideal refuge from sightseeing, an oasis of calm in a fascinating, clean and safe city.

Cons:

There is nothing to find fault with. Nothing to dislike. Nothing to criticise.

Nice property, disappointing staff experience

Hotel room itself and location were great!

Cons:

The staff at this hotel continued to call me, a woman, Mr. The whole time I stayed here- and only looked to the man staying with me, rather than me, the woman who booked and paid for the room. Additionally, though chat, they called me by the man on my reservations name instead of my own. His name is not on my account so they went through a great deal of effort to locate his name and try and speak to him rather than me, the woman who paid. The main door to the hotel is opened by the staff when you come in, rather than by your own key or motion sensor, so if they do not see you or step away you have to wait. Finally, the AC could have been stronger during a heat wave.
