Outstanding Single Night Stay
Pros:

I had stayed at Rivethi Beach in the week before. This was an overnight waiting for a flight connection. Hotel, as always, was exceptional.

You Will Find No Finer Guest Service
Pros:

I have had the good fortune of returning to Hulhumale year after year for work efforts. After finding Rivethi Beach Hotel early on I have not even considered a different hotel. I love an ocean dip in morning and evening - it is 50 meters from the door. I want a variety of uncrowded restaurants to choose from - at least 15 within a 5 minute walk. The staff here continues to be friendly, and amazing as they work on every aspect of a stay - late checkouts are available, calling a car, extra water, towels, early breakfast - they make it happen.

Cons:

I still detest the internet - sorry Rivethi. It simply is unreliable, automatic reconnection is most often not working and the manual process is 10 to 12 key strokes. There must be another way! I used the hotspot from my Ooredoo sim card when I was connecting for meetings.

Pleasant. Will definitely stay there again next time.
Pros:

All staff members were very welcoming, polite, respectful and helpful.
The hotel looks modern, with clean rooms, comfortable bed, hot water with enough pressure in the shower, simple but nice breakfast and comfortable waiting area. Possibility for late check out at a small extra cost. Highly recommend this nice hotel!

Not worth the price I paid.
Pros:

Clean linen and a beautiful location.

Cons:

Rooms are very small. For the price I paid it wasnt up to standard. Felt very claustrophobic, no balcony, and small window with no natural light coming in. Shower didnt have a door so water went all over the floor and the aircon outside the bathroom window made a horrid sound.

I had a disappointing experience with this hotel.

The hotel lost my room key card and initially asked me to pay 20 USD for it, later “reducing” the charge to 15 USD, even though it was just a simple plastic key card.

As a result, I constantly had to ask staff members to open the room for me, and I could not properly use the electricity system in the room without the card.

There was no clear information provided at check-in about any replacement fee in case the card was lost. The only warning was written in extremely small and unclear text on the back of the card, and it did not specifically mention that guests would be charged in case of loss.

Without clear communication beforehand, the charge felt less like a reasonable policy to encourage guests to be careful and more like an easy way to make extra money from customers.

Overall, I found the situation frustrating and poorly handled.
