great location with 24 hour reception and the bar and restaurant on the 2nd floor. The food is delicious!!
The constant shortage of towels. There were 2 guests to my room. When maid service came, they took 2 sets of towels but would only leave one set. There are no sharp knives for peeling an apple or cutting ginger for your tea.
The place is located in a great place within proximity to the Gautrain station adn Sandton Mall. The Public transport is easily accessible and the facility accommodates both Business and Leisure travel.
The management of the noise in the alleys at night can be improved upon. Also, because the facility is in Sandton, there is overnight noise from the general traffic outside.
There are also broken tiles in the bathroom and the sitting area that shouldn't be there in a facility of this standard
Always stay at the Blackbrick, the staff are the best. Always go above & beyond to help make my stay the best.
The sofa’s are not very useful.
The room was nice
And loved the fact that there's a restaurant on site
When we arrived the room was short of towels, also the safe in the room jammed and we had to wait some time before someone came to open it
Clean, restaurant had easy selection to choose from with a spacious seating areas.

The rooms too small. Steps steep. The room had areas where water damage wasn’t repaired well. In general areas, broken tiles.
The breakfast was generally good. A bit slow on one of the days (probably and understandably, due to a huge volume of guests).
Late replacement of towels on one of the days. The hotel could improve by providing lotion to guests. Even a very small bottle.
Location
Downgraded to a ground floor room with a lot of noise from the people upstairs. Pillows very soft and only 1 per person. Bathroom very small with showerhead to low and very cramped.
