The apartment though expensive - its not bed and breakfast, I was not happy that the reason they dont do bed breakfast is that you can cook ? I cant travel all the way to cook … didnt make sense to me

Good value for money
Pros:

Friendly staff. Great breakfast. AC unit worked wonderful. The bed was comfortable enough and shower has instant hot water.

Cons:

Internet was patchy in the room and I couldn’t access the phone to call reception. The balcony door also didn’t lock securely but management assured they will fix it.

اقمت في ثلاثة فنادق في زنجبار ودار السلام وكان هو أفضل فندق مقارنة مع الثلاثة من كل النواحي حتى القيمة مقابل المال
انصح الجميع، الغرفة كبيرة وجيدة جدا خدمة الساونا مجانا والموقع ممتاز وبعيد عن زحمة دار السلام وقريب من معظم المواقع

Be careful
Pros:

Breakfast was fine though their coffee machine was broken, the server made coffee esp for us!

Cons:

The reason for the low score is that after we left, I got a call from the front desk person trying to extort money from me. She told me my charge did t go through and that she would be fired and that her mother was sick and depending on her. I told her to have management call me and I’d pay them directly. She even sent a text with her photo. Of course I checked my credit card and it has gone through. I alerted the management and they never let me know if they had taken care of this. Very disappointed. Plus it was our very first night of a month long holiday through Africa. Needless to say it was a bitter pill. We didn’t have anything like that happen anywhere else. Our trip was fantastic, but the memory of that stay is horrible.
