Pros and cons, but overall left feeling negatively, mainly due to the poor service
Pros:

The private Pacaya tour we booked through them went well and we enjoyed it a lot

Pros:
Comfy bed & quiet
AC (however it’s a window unit)
Cute interior & terrace
Good breakfast (Lionel gave us great service on our second day!)

Cons:

There are both pros and cons of the hotel, but I think overall we left feeling negatively about it due to the service and would not return. We booked round trip transportation and a private tour with them with Kelyn and then confirmed later with Moises 2 weeks prior, and then the night before the transportation.

The transportation picking us up from Guatemala City never arrived. When we called them when the car was 10 mins late, they said “sorry the car is late it’s on the way”. When it was 30 minutes late, we called again and they said “no you didn’t book a car for now. The driver is busy”. We have to book an uber to go. In addition, they mentioned they were sending a Kia Sport, which only seats 5 people. We were a group of 5, so us plus the driver wouldn’t have been able to fit in the car anyway. When we arrived, they verbally apologized, but didn’t do anything else to compensate us. To take matters worse, I spoke in person and tried to confirm over writing the next day about our transport back to Guatemala City on checkout day. Again asking for transport for 5 people, but they gave us the price for a Kia Sport that would not fit all 5 of us. Later talking to them they said “yes you asked for 5 people and I told you this price but 5 people won’t fit in the car so you should upgrade to a can that’s triple the price”. At that point I was completely done with the service and asked to cancel everything and we booked and uber. Moises in particular seemed like he didn’t care at all about genuinely proving a good experience, just going through the motions.

The piping in the bathroom must have been bad in room 2, because the bathrooms smelled like sewer gasses. They tried to tell us that the bad smell was the disinfectant they used to clean it (total bs)
Hairdryer didn’t work well
Room is on the smaller size, but not unreasonably small

Hotel muy central y cómodo!

El baño tiene un olor fuerte a cañería, el piso de la habitación no estaba bien limpio. Dicen tener parqueo cerca, queda a tres cuadras y no se pudo usar porque estaba cerrada la calle.

en general excelente hotel y un personal muy atento y servicial

la ubicacion del hotel es perfecta, el desayuno es realmente excelente y delicioso con multiples opciones para escoger, buen cafe y la atencion en el desayuno por la joven es muy amena asi como de la recepcion! hotel es muy lindo en todas sus partes y limpio.

Cons:

la habitacion 1 que fue la usada, tiene un problema serio de humedad en el baño en las paredes. El hotel tiene ya algunas medidas basicas para tratar de combatir este problema con deshumidificador y spray automantico de olor pero visualmente es evidente el deterioro en esta parte asi como el olor que genera. De usar el aire acondiocionado de la habitacion disminuye un pooco pero pueden sin duda algun tomar medidas mas efectivas para solventar le problema.

Super Hotel - absolut empfehlenswert. Nicht billig, aber es lohnt sich.
Pros:

Es gab einen Willkommensdrink und wir konnten die Koffer sicher deponieren, bis das Zimmer fertig war!
Da wir frühmorgens Vulkanbesteigungen machten, erhielten wir 2 x sehr leckeres lunch Paket!
Extrem freundliches Personal!
Wir erhielten kostenfrei ein Upgrade Zimmer, da das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss dunkel und etwas mufffig roch.
